We were cycling, and the staff at this hotel bent over backwards to help us....with luggage storage, booking, early breakfast, early check-in, early check-out...! They were so helpful!! The room was spacious and it had a lovely balcony looking out to sea. Great restaurant next door (El Dalfino), great bakery around the corner. Only complaint was that the night staff... More

Loved this European style hotel. In this smaller hotel, this room was way beyond expectations. High ceilings and lots of space - surprising to find anywhere in Europe! Our jaws dropped when we entered! Beautiful private modern wash facilities (including Bidet!) and the room was complete with beautiful Italian design. It's a hotel that could be used in a movie... We stayed here with another couple on October 28th before boarding our WindStar cruise ship. We arrived mid afternoon after flying all night with a layover at Heathrow and were greeting at the front desk with a smile. The front desk staff all spoke very good English and were eager to answer our questions regarding places to eat and sights... More

The Miramare is a short walk from the train station. We stayed only a single night before boarding our cruise but I would definetly return for a longer stay. The room was very spacious, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom adequate. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was good. The view from our balcony... More

When I picked this hotel I had the following worries: - Will it have a panoramic sea view? - Is it going to be spacious and comfortable? - Does the Wifi work? - Is the bed comfortable? - Is the bathroom pleasant and functional? Yes, yes, yes, yes and yes! PLUS the location is excellent, a lovely promenade dotted with... More

This was an authentic and quaint European Hotel. We loved it! The room was large and lovely. Our room faced the sea. There was a large window that we could open to a small balcony. We had to smile at the very small elevator. Just what you might expect in an older hotel. Both room and bathroom was modern. The... More

Stayed here a second time. Large lovely room with big windows facing the sea. Room had modern bathroom with shower stall, at least 15' ceilings. Breakfast ends at 9:30 am. Cute hotel kitty will love your petting while sitting outside on the comfy couches. Just a seven minute stroll to the pier shuttle pick up point. Walk to lots of... More

Thank you Gianni, Dario and all at Miramare for all your help, attention and service in making Miramare feel like a second home. Following our brief visit in 2012 we could not go past Miramare when we cruised from Chivitavecchia in May 2014. We were when we arrived to find exactly what we had hoped, a warm welcome and our... Wow! Beautiful, quaint hotel on the seaside walking path. Extremely helpful staff (Thank you, Gianni!!) with everything from shuttle questions to cell phone questions and dining recommendations. Lovely rooms with air conditioning (needed in early September!). Near the train station and an easy walk to the cruise port shuttle area. It's hard to think of anything that was less than... More
