My wife and I spent 3 nights in this beautiful hotel. The host Christina was friendly, informative and really is an asset to this venue, working from early morning until late at night ensuring everything runs smoothly. They run a great restaurant with the produce used all sourced from the local region, or actually grown on their farm.. Also worth... More

We had an amazing stay. It all started and ended with Christina - what an asset to the property. The resort was everything we hoped it would be, beautiful view, beautiful rooms and beautiful food and wine. The bathroom was amazing with spa bath and massive shower, all decorated in a modern minimalist style. The bed was super comfy -... More

this was a great place. we had the separate apartment.. it was amazing. nice, spacious room which was clean and modern.. large closet and bathroom adjacent to the pool area.. it was very private and well appointed.. the place looks recently redone in a very modern style.. it is not a large hotel with tuxedoed doormen.. it is quaint and... What sets this place apart is not necessarily its luxury, but its soul. Sure – Poggio Piglia is a well-designed, very comfortable hotel. It has spacious, nicely decorated guest rooms combining the original farmhouse charm with modern, well designed elements, large bathrooms and comfortable, rather firm beds. It doesn’t feature in-room coffee makers or plenty of other little amenities you... More

We stayed at Poggio Piglia last July for 4 nights, it’s taken awhile to write this review but the memories still live on strong and this has to be one of my favourite places I have ever stayed, and was absolutely the stand out of our 3 weeks in Italy. Staff were lovely, the setting stunning and rooms super comfortable.... More

Poggio Piglia is the best place we have ever stayed (EVER) and I doubt it can be beaten! Unfortunately for us we only stayed one night but for that one night we were treated so well and we did not want to leave. The service is so personal. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. The staff were... More

We stayed at Poggio Piglia for three nights as part of our 10th anniversary trip, and it couldn't have been a more lovely experience. Beautiful property, modern design, and attentive service. Our room and bathroom were lovely and spacious, and the grounds and overall setting were stunning. Paolo and Salvatore were wonderful, and the meals were delicious! The property is... More

Wow! What a great small boutique hotel in Tuscany! It's location was perfect as a base for visiting the many hilltop towns in the area! The room was spacious and the staff, friendly and very accommodating. The grounds of the hotel were breathtaking! Set on a working farm that still produces olive oil and wine. The restaurant was equally as... More

We stayed at Poggio Piglia for a week in September and hired the hotel exclusively for 3 days to celebrate our wedding. We could not have asked for a more perfect place to have our wedding reception. The hotel is beautifully finished; stylish, bright, modern and very comfortable. Due to its boutique size you feel like you are staying in... More

Poggio Piglia is a medieval farm which has been lovingly converted into a bijou hotel with a real eye for design. Set on a quiet estate just off the motorway, so easy to find and good for visits to Chiusi, Pienza, Montepulciano and Montalcino. Perfect for three nights
