I stayed at this hotel for one night with my husband during a driving trip in Tuscany and we were very impressed! You arrive at the hotel down a long tree lined track which opens up to reveal the house - it is not huge, but it is absolutely beautiful. The ground of the hotel are very well kept and... More

This was our 2nd return trip back through Tuscany after a few years and having had a night to spare and passing through Chiusi, we did not give it another thought but to stay again at this tucked away resort. We were delighted to rest after a long afternoon walking and visiting Siena and sit by the pool, then to... More

Where to start? Location.... while a bit hard to find initially based on website instructions we did finally find it. It was an amazing little boutique hotel nestled in the Tuscan countryside and located within an hour and a half from Florence, Sienna, and a train ride to Rome. As an American I always have to remind myself that European... More

We recently had an event at Poggio Piglia, and it turned out just fantastic! The place and the scenery is breathtakingly beautiful only trumped by the welcoming, serviceminded, and all together great staff. The attention to detail was extraordinary, and all the help we got really made our stay perfect. The restaurant is great, offering local Tuscan specialities. I highly... More

We spent 2 weeks traveling through Italy in October and spent 3 of those nights at Poggio Piglia. The grounds are beautiful and since we rented out the private house, we were able to sit outside at night and just overlook the pool while drinking wine. The location was very easy for us to day drip to Montepulciano and Siena.... More

My husband and I recently spent 4 nights at this beautiful estate during our honeymoon in Italy. The location is perfect: stone's throw from the train station and convenient for day trips to Montepulciano, Siena and Cortona. Paolo, the manager, was extremely attentive and gave us the best tips for where to visit, restaurants to book and so much more.... More

A perfect stay. Thank you Paulo, Salvatore and Luca. We loved our time at Poggio Puglia and will certainly return. Beautiful views of the Tuscany countryside, Salvatore's supermenu, Paulo's thoughtful sense of detail.

This small hotel is beautiful, easy to find, has a superb restaurant and a very accommodating staff. We were very comfortable, loved sitting at the pretty pool, and particularly enjoyed our visit (cooking class, lunch and vineyard tour) to Villa Aignonesi, which was about half an hour away. Very good value. Suggest you book ahead since it only has 9... More

We were here the last week of April 2014. I initially chose this hotel for its location (which was ideal for our trip), pool (too cold outside for this trip but hopefully in the future), restaurant and overall positive reviews. Believe the hype. This is a great place to stay and enjoy beautiful Tuscany. A key element to the enjoyment... More

This hotel has a gorgeous view of Tuscany.. it was very close to a hot air ballooning place named ballooningtuscany.com (maybe?) The balloon ride was spectacular seeing cows and vineyards under you so early in the morning was beautiful. The breakfast was simply divine. Mozzarella, cheeses, scramled eggs, american coffee etc. The dinner was not so great. The pork was... More
