My boyfriend and I travelled around Europe and stayed in dozens of hotels, and this was my hands-down favorite. We were greeted with wine by the owner when we arrived, had a lovely meal overlooking the vineyard, and took a cooking class with the restaurant's chef. This boutique hotel is the perfect mix of rustic-modern, on a truly breathtaking property.... More

Immaculate location! Rented a car in Napoli and drove, staff is very accommodating and welcoming. Our room was on the top floor, and with no lift the staff carried our (very heavy) bags up for us. Stunning views and incredible bathroom with jacuzzi tub (that kind of had a mind of its own, but very luxurious). Infinity pool is stunning.... More

We stayed at Poggio Piglia last fall for 3 nights while we explored Tuscany. We drove from the airport in Rome to the hotel which was about an hour and 45 minutes. It served as a perfect launching ground for our itinerary: driving north to Chianti the first day, an all day wine tour around Montalcino the next day and... More

Absolute perfect place for our Honeymoon stay. The place is definitely off the beaten path. If you have a car, perfect. We did not. We took a cab from the train station in Chiusi, then took a cab each way to Montepulciano (around 45 euro each way), and finally had our wine tour guide pick us up here for our... More

Located just outside an amazing small town, this place and town makes you feel like you belong there. Not as a tourist, but really belong. The food is legendary, the grounds are gorgeous, the staff is impeccable, and don't miss the pool. Everything is very clean. It's the perfect combination of old world architecture with modern furniture and fixtures. Rooms... More

This place is straight out of a post card. The setting could not be more beautiful. It's close enough to drive to many of the great Tuscan cities, like Siena, Pienza and San Gimgiano (sp). The hotel itself is just amazing. The rooms are big, the shower is HUGE. The breakfast is the best we have had in Italy. The... More

Lovely hotel set in a beautiful location with stunning views. We only stayed for 2 nights and didn't leave the hotel but it's well placed for several local towns (recommend Cortona which we visited on the way out). The infinity pool is very nice (what a view!) and you can wander around the grounds amongst the olive trees. We ate... More

We Loved this place, but well keep our review to the top 4. 1. Paolo - without this gentleman, our stay may not have been the same. He was up at breakfast and there with the guests at last drinks. He did everything from recommend running trails and make lunches when the kitchen was closed to mix pre-dinner drinks. 2.... More

We stayed at this hotel in early October 2015, and have only the highest remarks. Not only is it in the perfect location (within a 30 minute drive to Montepulciano & Montalcino and 10 minutes from the Chiusi train station), it has the most stunning views of the Tuscan countryside that I have ever seen. We even were able to... More

This is a magical place set on the top of a hill overlooking the Tuscan countryside. It's only 8 rooms but there's no 'bed & breakfast' feel to this luxurious property! Where to start?! The property is well situated for visits to Montepulciano, Sienna, Cortona, and more. It boasts its own vineyards and olive groves plus trails which you can... More
