Stayed at the Marina for a week in May this year, the hotel is a small family run place which may not be everyone's cup of tea but i quite like it. You have the kids of the owners running around, family and friends meeting in reception, birthday parties going on, it feels like you are part of the family life which i think is great.

The marina was a perfect cheap base for us to explore tuscany, rented a car and drove around the region all day, hotel has parking which was great. The rooms would benefit from new furniture but the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom immaculately clean and hot water, shower pressure etc was always ok.

The family owners are great people and even though they speak almost no English at all, they were more than happy to help us find a reasonably priced hotel in Venice and all gathered around the computer and google translate to help us as much as they could.
