Nice hotel but in a remote location. Upon our arrival at 9.30pm we were told by the manager that we were too late for dinner and offered us a cold platter of ham salami cheese and dry bread. We unpacked and came down for a drink at 10.30. After much rolling of eyes the manager got us tea and coffee.... More

I concur with the comments of - Carol G.Lowestoft. UK. (Reviewed here on Tripadvisor 16 July 2014) the food variety and choice is the worst I have come across in a so called 4 Star Hotel. The location is most inconvenient, we did not book the Hotel directly so we were depending on the judgement of 'The Travel Department'. This... More

stayed at this hotel as part of tour with Newmarket and it was a great base for visiting the area. The hotel was very clean and the food was very good and they catered for partner gluten free diet with very little fuss and did her fresh pasta ever night. The rooms were very clean and quite large it also... More

We stayed at this hotel with Newmarket Holidays for a week 28 June - 5 July 2014, and were extremely disappointed. Although the actually hotel and pool was OK, the food was very poor certainly not up to a 4* standard. Unfortunately for us, the hotel was too far from the town 1 1/2 miles, with a steep uphill incline.... More

We travelled with Newmarket travel on their Tuscany Florence and Siena tour and stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in a twin room with balcony. We liked the location but the area is quite steep. This was fine for us but might be restrictive for some people. The room was quite small but clean. It had a balcony which overlooked... More

we have just returned to the UK from our 8 day stay at this hotel, the views from our windows were stunning, the staff were friendly and attentive. It is set in a peaceful location away from the town centre which suited us. Luigi the waiter was a gem and made it for us the hotel manager Antonio was especially... More

A very comfortable hotel. Beautiful gardens and pool. One disappointment the water was too cold for me to swim. I did however have a sun bathe. Pool area very comfortable. Lounge and garden rooms well furnished. Very comfortable for our 'after dinner' brandy. Staff helpful especially in the dining room. Luigi became a grandfather for the first time. His delight... We were part of a group on tour that made this hotel our stop for two nights and we found it very pleasant. The fact that it was not central to the town's "terme" or baths did not matter to us. It is conveniently located at one of the main stops between Rome and Siena, or in our case, Florence... More

This hotel is a mundane property at least half a mile from any surrounding shops or services and in urgent need of room refurbishment. Although there is a pool and a nicely arranged garden bar area, there are no English language TV channels, the internet while free is unreliable and the breakfasts below the standard expected for the star rating... Stayed at this hotel in September as part of a group. The good thing about this hotel is that it has a lovely garden area. However the staff were rude. Breakfast service especially was not good, on two occasions we were served cold tea and coffee. Hot water ran out. Did not replace the soap in bathroom as a small... More
