this hotel had a grand old feeling...loved the friendly staff and dining area...food was with Italian flair...so was pleased...breakfasts were plentiful...all happy .....the rooms were comfortable and basic....no complaints other than the rooms were found to be cold due to the hotel being situated up in the hills....no heating allowed until October were told!!!!

Very disappointing hotel, we had been told that this hotel was 4 stars and £79 per night and expected it to be lovely NOT !! The outside looked beautiful, the inside looked very dated , our room was dark , we could hardly open our wardrobe as so little room next to single beds even when they were pushed together.... More

A traditional hotel a few minutes walk uphill from Piazza Italia, the centre of ChiancianoTerme. The exterior of the hotel is inviting - with white leather chesterfield chairs and nice patio chairs and tables. Most of the hotel seems to have been fairly recently decorated in tasteful decor but the back was less attractive. We had a small balcony with... More

We were on coach tour with Newmarket Holidays. This hotel was very comfortable and old world charm. Good quality food and plenty of it. Is at top of a hill at the back of the town. Only problem we had was fire alarm going off at midnight. The staff don't seem concerned much and were happy to let people to... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and it served all our needs perfectly. We had 2 rooms on the second floor with balcony's on the front of the building. Our room had a baby bed already made up when we arrived. It was a little noisy at the front but having the balcony more than made up for that. The... More

One of the hotels that I stayed at when touring around Italy. The room was great, newly done out and really conformable. I particularly loved the large bathroom and shower. The food at both dinner and breakfast was great and the staff were particularly friendly and I was made to feel very welcome. Would defiantly book again when I next... More

Recently stayed here for three nights on a coach holiday. My wife and I were disappointed with the hotel for the following reasons: -although the interior of the hotel was clean the outside was not. The outside pool was filthy as was the surrounding area. Our bedroom had a small balcony but this could not be used as the two... More

This adorable hotel was by far the best I stayed in on my recent trip to Italy. It was quaint and authentic, exactly what I hoped for! Darling Italian rooms that overlooked the Tuscan mountains. The hotel staff was exceptional, especially the dining staff. The hotel went above and beyond by serving our group in a private dining room, with... More

In March 2013 four of us booked and paid for 2 rooms to be used in September 2013. We made our decision to stay here based on the good reviews we read. When we arrived we were told by the manager that they didn't have rooms available for us. They had taken in a tour bus and opted to give... More
