Just got back from Hotel and the location is in the centre of Tuscany about 30 miles south of Siena. The Hotel is a clean hotel which is kept clean by some good staff who all speak English. The rooms are ok with good bathrooms and AC but single rooms are a tad small and they do not have any... More

Stayed here for a week last October. The hotel was lovely. Rooms are spacious, well maintained and clean. Staff where friendly and we felt well looked after. We asked for a top floor apartment for the views and this was granted. The view was stunning. The only downfall was the food. To be honest it was awful and always seemed to... More

Unlike what everyone else has said the walk down to the town isn't far at all, only down the bottom of a short hill (about 4 minutes away) town is good if you want to explore further than the main square otherwise it looks like there isn't a lot there. I would recommend 'le fonti' restuarant as the food is... More

Stayed here overnight as part of a coach trip. Very impressed with the bedroom. Bathroom was very spacious. Shutters up the window for privacy but easy to work. Food was ok. Didn't have time to use the swimming pool but it looked nice.

This is only judged by an overnight stay as part of a coach group, but the service we were shown was just as good as it would have been if we had gone as a couple, the food in the evening was good, and breakfasts were as you would expect from a continental breakfast. The rooms were clean and tidy,... More

Just back from here and it was a lovely pretty clean hotel. The rooms were nice with good air conditioning and a lovely receptionist. The lifts were a bit temperamental ! but worked. The first room they showed us to was not great, no view no balcony. So we asked the lovely receptionist if we could change and she said... More

The hotel is located in a nice quiet town that used to be more popular with tourists. Like most of Italy we have seen, everywhere is very clean and tidy, even the shut down hotels have nice hanging baskets with flowers. There is a small wood near the hotel, which makes a nice peaceful walk out of the heat of... More

Stayed as part of Shearings Coach Tour. The hotel was very good especially for such a cheap price. It was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast gave a lot to choose from with juices or hot drinks on tap. The evening meals were five courses every night and were most enjoyable. The restaurant staff were lovely and even joking with us.... More

Stayed as part of a Shearings coach tour. Hotel was okay with basic but clean room. Breakfasts and evening meals were poor quality; couldn't even get a decent slice of toast in the morning. Worse for me was the attitude of the restaurant staff, which frankly put me off the hotel as the week progressed. A member of the party... More

Wanting to escape Christmas in the UK, we booked a Shearings coach holiday: their ‘Christmas in Tuscany’ package. This would be, we were told, based in Chianciano Terme, with optional excursions to Florence, Siena and Rome. We had never been on a coach holiday before, but were willing to give it a try. Living as we do in Scarborough, we... More
