My husband and I stayed here as part of a coach trip and used the hotel as a base to explore Tuscany, often independently. The rooms were simple but of a good size, good shower, very clean and comfortable with friendly and efficient staff. Meals were included with good, local, fresh ingredients and a choice for the main evening meal.... More

Stayed here as a member of a coach party. I paid a hefty single supplement (23% on top of normal tour price) but I don't believe the hotel received the extra for a single room and I was allotted what I consider to be a very inferior room. It was very clean and well-serviced but with a very small, hard... More

The Mizar is quite a large hotel in Chianciano which is quite a pleasant resort. We love Tuscany and the views in the area are worth the visit. We were initially impressed with this hotel but discovered that there was a lot of noise in the room created by people using toilets and showers which in our room started very... More

Stayed here for three nights, fantastic size room no view though but very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and the food was good. There is a short walk to the main square which had live music and dancing when we were there it is slightly hilly but not too much of a problem. All in all Avery comfortable... More

Just got back from Hotel and the location is in the centre of Tuscany about 30 miles south of Siena. The Hotel is a clean hotel which is kept clean by some good staff who all speak English. The rooms are ok with good bathrooms and AC but single rooms are a tad small and they do not have any... More

Stayed here for a week last October. The hotel was lovely. Rooms are spacious, well maintained and clean. Staff where friendly and we felt well looked after. We asked for a top floor apartment for the views and this was granted. The view was stunning. The only downfall was the food. To be honest it was awful and always seemed to... More

Unlike what everyone else has said the walk down to the town isn't far at all, only down the bottom of a short hill (about 4 minutes away) town is good if you want to explore further than the main square otherwise it looks like there isn't a lot there. I would recommend 'le fonti' restuarant as the food is... More

Stayed here overnight as part of a coach trip. Very impressed with the bedroom. Bathroom was very spacious. Shutters up the window for privacy but easy to work. Food was ok. Didn't have time to use the swimming pool but it looked nice.

This is only judged by an overnight stay as part of a coach group, but the service we were shown was just as good as it would have been if we had gone as a couple, the food in the evening was good, and breakfasts were as you would expect from a continental breakfast. The rooms were clean and tidy,... More

Just back from here and it was a lovely pretty clean hotel. The rooms were nice with good air conditioning and a lovely receptionist. The lifts were a bit temperamental ! but worked. The first room they showed us to was not great, no view no balcony. So we asked the lovely receptionist if we could change and she said... More
