We had very good time: friendly staff, room and breakfast as we expected for that price, very nice pool and spa center downstairs. We had dinner once ( a la carte) but do not recommend it as the "tagliata" was overcooked and the appetizer was "weird"

Dear Francesca, thank you for sharing this review about your stay at Villa Ricci and thank you for your beautiful words about our hotel. I'm sorry that your "tagliata" was overcooked also because we always ask to our customers wich kind of cooking you prefer. Probably you required a well cooked which is usually not recommended for tagliata. A greeting... More

The service standards and the welcome was excellent, the room was on the third floor with both lift and stair access...they have a fabulous spa and health retreat within the hotel which is recommended. Tours of local distrcits can be arranged through the front desk, however the local bus services can get you around this part of Tuscany. The old... More

Stayed here in October 2013 with Travelsphere. A large, spacious hotel above average for three star. The lounges and outdoor areas are thoughtfully designed and well laid-out. Our room was a good size (with a shower but no bath) and a balcony we could sit out on with beautiful views across the valley to the surrounding hills. The only problem... More

Stayed via travelsphere. The hotel owners are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Food is very plentiful and perfectly good ( but for a regional treat go to a local osteria). Rooms are above average for an Italian 3 star, all have air con. The only downside is that the town is 2 hours or more from... More

I stayed here at the end of June 2013 with Travelsphere. The hotel is a friendly family run hotel in a small town on the south east side of Tuscany. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are a decent size for this type of European hotel. My room had a small balcony overlooking the Tuscan hillside which was... More

A stay in Hotel Ricci with Travelsphere was enjoyable. All the staff were friendly and the chef was great at looking after my dietary needs while also cooking dishes for everyone else. The area the hotel is in is very quiet. The old town and new town are a lovely short walk away. After being out all day we did... More

I stayed in Chianciano Terme for two nights during which I went cycling around the Val di Chiana region. The hotel felt like home thanks to the mother and daughter team who own it and manage it and Laura, the ever helpful receptionist who speaks fluent English. My room was spacious, the air conditioning was perfect without being noisy and... More

We enjoyed almost everything about our holiday, the trips (Although very expensive) the hotel staff were the best we have ever experienced, the coach driver took care and drove to a high standard of safety and skill, the Travelsphere representative was First class. The well being centre was Superb! The food however was very poor! Reconstituted and recycled. We understand... More

I stayed here during a Travelsphere holiday to Tuscany. A nice hotel with very helpful staff who work extremely hard and for long hours. The food was good and the wellness centre was wonderful. However, the whole area is suffering from the economic downturn and many surrounding hotels appear to have closed. The rooms badly need a refurbishment as the bedrooms... More

Hotel is clean, it is a welcoming family run hotel. The Wellness centre is such a bonus, and a treat. The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble, I highly recommend Villa Ricci. Fantastic
