We chose this hotel as it accepts pets. Very good choise, we liked the friendly welcome, the good sized room, the modern functional bathroom, the parking right outside and the pet friendly environment. This is not, however, a business hotel, breakfast for example is served only at 8 a.m. even on a weekday.

We found the hotel difficult to locate, but once we arrived it was charming. There was a friendly reception, ample free parking and an elegant (but expensive) restaurant. The room was clean, spacious and with a large well equipped bathroom and free Wi Fi.

Stayed here with another family as part of a cycling trip around the Lake Como area. From the outset staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner of the hotel, Sergio, was the epitome of hospitality and showed me the wonderful wine cellar below the hotel that had bottles dating back to the 1920s. Breakfast was very good and had... The hotel and its staff were excellent. It is close to the lake and just a short boat ride away from Como. It has its own car park which is free for guests of the hotel. The restaurant is also amazing but it is expensive (the food is fine dining standard). All in all, I would definately go back.

We were warmly welcomed to this interesting hotel and our host explained the room faclities and hotel functions very clearly. Even though we had a superior room, it was, I felt, fairly basic. It could do with a refurbishment. We didn't eat in the restaurant, as we wanted a lighter meal than the fair on offer, but the menu looked... More

Just a few minutes walk from the lakeside, this hotel is in an amazing setting: a tiny waterfall within a few feet of the hotel building itself, the ancient building with the gravel parkway, it is really striking. I drove there but found that I did not need the car at all to visit Cernobbio since it is really within... More

We had a change of plan and booked one night here. I did read the reviews and they are spot on. The B&B is beautiful from the outside but inside is a different story. Internally the hotel is very dated and has lost its character which if reinstated could be amazing. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and perfectly function... More

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel while passing through the area. The hotel is situated near to the center of Cernobbio, and has ample car parking. The rooms are adequate and represent good value for money. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is excellent.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

The 3 star hotel has a charming exterior set in a garden, with a spacious gravel car park. The bedroom was disappointingly small and had lost the old world charm expected by the exterior. The bedroom was Recently refurbished with industrial conduit covering the electrics and three grotesque modern art pieces in the room. The room was quiet even though... More

This is a typical 3 star Italian hotel except for the excellent restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and quiet with efficient air conditioning. We stayed here for 10 nights to attend a wedding and discover the pleasures of Lake Como. This hotel is in a quiet position within a short stroll of the lake... More
