Between the lemmon and orange trees, you will find this beautiful place uphill. When you'll meet Domenico, you can be sure that you'll be having a great stay. Nice pool, great room and dinners and a good access to Cefalu. Only Comments i can give is that the rooms can be a bit chilly inside and you'll need to squeeze... More

We stayed here in July as a family of four, kids age 2 and 5. Nice appartment and a lovely pool with fantastic view where we either started or ended the day. The old convent creates a magical atmosphere by night. Don't miss out on the breakfast. The only drawback for us was that we didn't fancy Cefalu-town that much.

Villa Palamara 1868 is a lovely site to stay on the slope of a hill with a large pool with sea view. The villa even has it's own chapel. It's not really a B&B though. You rent a large studio and have to order the breakfast separately @ € 7.00. Dominique is a very nice and helpfull servant of villa... More

Francesco Palamara is a gracious and helpful hosr and his home is speical place. A few miles from Cefalu, this old convent is now converted into apartments that are attractive and comfortable. The countryside is beautiful as is the view of the sea (very close). Domenico, serves the delicious breakfast everyday with a smile which is a great way to... More

when I arrived there, I got the keys and my room had a small window but nicely designed bathroom and clean bed, food eaten in the city of my stay lasted only four days, and the service was helpful and gave me lots of advice, I am very surprised Italians hospitality, good wine , and sunny weather, it is also... We visited Villa Palamara in June 2013 and have to say it was one of the most beautiful hotels I have visited. The drive up to the villa is through olive and lemon groves which are very pretty. The rooms themselves are fairly basic without all the mod cons like tv and air conditioning but the villa is utterly stunning.... More

Amazing location in many ways: 1. The B&B itself sits 60 meters above sea level, overlooking the sea. Amazing view of the Stromboli while swimming in the large swimming pool! Never experienced such bliss before! 2. The B&B used to be a monastery. Therefore very special atmosphere. Lovely grounds with ancient olive trees, lemon trees and orange trees. Picking lemons... I read the review before mine and it sums up the Villa perfectly. This really is a gem of a place. Most days we had the pool to ourselves. We just laid looking out at the lemon, olive and orange trees all day. On an evening Francesco and his girlfriend Rosie would serve us dinner if we requested. The apartments... More

The setting of this villa is quite idyllic. Beautiful views across the sea with the Aeolian Islands visible in the distance on clear days, as well as towards Cefalu. The swimming pool is gorgeously situated amongst lemon trees, with other citrus fruit and an olive grove. The accomodation is in a series of buildings spread across the hillside on terraces... More

We had a real relaxing time. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful. Very friendly welcome by owner Francesco. Large and deep swimming pool including parasols and sunbeds. Great view over the sea. The room was small but clean. Simple breakfast but fine. Slightly annoying were the wasps that arrived immediately after we got our plate. Be prepared for an authentic Italian... More
