very large clean nice room. Not sure we ever understood how to use the shower. friendly staff, we used the small refrigerator in our room for our personel use and they were fine with that. This hotel is clean, adequate rooms, good beds, excellent breakfast and a very helpful, friendly staff. The location is terrific--a block from the beach and only a few blocks from good restaurants. A ten minute walk takes you to the center of town. The one negative: parking. You have to find a spot on the street near the hotel. more

It has no character, unless you count the roller-doors to your balcony! It was adequate but completely underwhelming. Easy walk to esplanade restaurants. more

We stayed for 2 nights in this little gem of a hotel - 1 night in suite 6 and 1 night in suite 5.Both were excellent , spacious and clean.Reccomend to anyone who wants to spend time in Cefalu.Will be returning next year for a longer stay. more

Stayed here for the first time in October 2007 and enjoyed it so much we returned October 2008. Stayed in suite 6, with a sea view, slightly smaller that the rear-facing suite we had last year but still plenty big enough for me, my wife and teenaged son. Excellent value. Pleasant 200m stroll along the front to centre. Quieter end of the splendid beach. Clean rooms of ample size. Good breakfasts and helpful staff. No reservations about recommending. more

Stayed here for 2 days in SEP08, first time in Cefalu. Location is right in front of the sea, supermarket around the corner, train station is a short 10 minute walk. Strolling into the old section of town along the beach is great. Will be coming back for longer stay at Villa Gaia. more
