I recommend this hotel for lovers of active rest.Nothing no better start to the day from when promenades or jogging sea coast. Awaken not only your muscles but also your mood and appetite. Incidentally morning sweat washed with sea water. Pleasant moments in Sicily.

Booked this hotel for the first week of a two week break to Sicily. Requested a high room and was given first floor which actually turned out to be ok especially as our room was overlooking the swimming pool. We had the evening sun which was a bonus. The balconies are tiny, just enough room for 2 seats but lovely... More

We recently spent two nights in the Hotel Tourist. Had a room with a balcony twards the sea, and a lovely view of the town. The breakfast was very good, and enjoying it outside added to the value. The pool was also very good, not too ctrowded at this time of the year. But - bring your own towels!

hotel is at best 2 * we had a superior room on sea front - basic and ruined by other guests smoking on balconies and at front of hotel. also house martins had nested on balconies leaving a mess of droppings with no attempt to clean up by staff. we ate one evening meal in the hotel and it was... Bit shocked when we first arrived as the hotel is a bit outdated. It's in a nice position and we had looked for hotel in Cefalu with a swimming pool so that we could relax for 2 days before our 3 days in Palermo. The room was ok, not good or great but a typical holiday room, tiled floor, walls... More

We spent three nights in Cefalu not knowing what to expect and just loved it. I can see why the Italians love it so. Old Town is fabulous with shopping, bars and restaurants galore. La Rocca was something special as well. The Tourist is just far enough out of town to make for quieter surroundings. We slept with the doors... More

First things First. Nice clean swimming pool! It's not the Ritz but for the budget savvy traveler you can't go wrong. We got room #204 and it's ocean front view. Parking is free and they have a parking lot but if you are lucky enough to get a spot out front it's a shorter walk and you can see your... More

Firstly to get my only complaint out of the way. We went for 1 week from 19th Aug. We were given room 104 on the 1st floor. On going to the balcony I noticed bird poo on the ground as well as noticed all rooms on this floor had the same, due to bird nests (house martins) on the roof... More

Hotel Tourist was booked for me by a family member and I was very glad they did. One of my favourite things about Hotel Tourist is that it is located right on Lungomare and our room had a wonderful balcony with views of the sea so we could watch the sunset each evening. Across the road from the hotel lies... More

While the location of the hotel was good, the Hotel was overpriced at $170.00 euro ( 4 adults, we had our 18 and 21 yr.old children on this trip). Very disappointed by the old hotel, lacked any European flavor and looked like it was stuck in the 70's with its decor. The pool is not recommended If you have children... More
