Hotel Tourist was booked for me by a family member and I was very glad they did. One of my favourite things about Hotel Tourist is that it is located right on Lungomare and our room had a wonderful balcony with views of the sea so we could watch the sunset each evening. Across the road from the hotel lies... More

While the location of the hotel was good, the Hotel was overpriced at $170.00 euro ( 4 adults, we had our 18 and 21 yr.old children on this trip). Very disappointed by the old hotel, lacked any European flavor and looked like it was stuck in the 70's with its decor. The pool is not recommended If you have children... More

We stayed at this hotel in a quadruple room with our 2 children. The room was spacious with a small balcony and while the decor is a little dated, the rooms are spotless. This is a great hotel to stay in with children as the pool is a great size, never crowded and extremely clean. The children also really enjoyed... More

This hotel is basic and old fashioned. The rooms are spacious but in need of updating. Breakfast was ok. Having a pool and private beach were the best things as hiring beds/umbrella can be expensive. The shower was very good and powerful. Staff were friendly and made sure things were clean and tidy

After a 2 hour train journey from Palermo airport we arrived at the hotel quite late only to find that the shower hose in one of the rooms was split and the door looked as though it had been forced open! However the shower was mended straight away and we were offered another room because of the door. As the... More

Oh dear. This was probably the worst hotel experience we have had and very poor value for money. I have given this 2 stars and this is generous because the staff did at least try to remedy some of the issues (it seemed to me they were at the ready to do so, possibly they had heard it all before?).... We are a mature couple and have been on the road for 10 months. This hotel has been a great stay - we booked for 3 days and stayed a week. It is a good base to explore by car or train (an hour to Palermo) but as well it is situated well along the waterfront so is in a... More
