I visited the Kalura twenty five years ago with my wife on our honeymoon, looking for some sunshine in Europe in mid-October. To celebrate our silver wedding we decided to go back and see if it was as good as we remembered. It was even better. The hotel is very comfortable - much more than the official 3 star rating... We stayed for 7 nights in Room 444 which is I think an Executive Room. It was the first room and had the largest balcony and the view was fabulous. My one criticism about the balcony is there is no privacy! There is only a few feet of screening from the other balconies, then it is wide open. If you... More

The 4th time we have stayed here over 12 years. Amazing views from balcony the same but overall much better. Same large pool, rooms modernised, not luxury but still very comfortable. Restaurant now excellent, though still worth going into town for something different. We will go again. Wifi only in public areas. Needs to be improved.

We spent 9 days in an apartment (Ester C) that belongs to the Hotel Kalura. The apartment has a large kitchen and dining area with a spectacular view of the ocean and cliffs, with private beach access. The private beach is very rocky, and you definitively need to bring good water shoes. Also note that for smaller kids, if there... More

Perfect location and everything I hoped for. This hotel is certainly in the best location sitting up high above the sea with fabulous views. Good swimming and facilities.Great 20 minute walk to Town and perfect way to eat more pasta as the town has many wonderful dining opportunities. Breakfast is plentiful and good. Wi fi works and reception staff go... More

Our room, 307 had an amazing view of the sea and islands is the distance and the various constellations by night. Just amazing! The room itself was clean. Bathroom in good condition. Plenty of room to hang clothes. Frig in room and a safe to lock valuables. Breakfast is plentiful with pastries, cappuccino, meats and cheeses, fruits, cereals, hard boiled... More

We rented a small apartment in the grounds of the Hotel and found it to be very nice and comfortable with spectacular views across the bay. At £100.00 per night, it was well worth it. A few annoyances, though and these were; even though we were self-catering, there was no microwave and the cooking utensils were very basic, there was... More

booked a single room, mattress just sunk could not sleep, asked to change room but none available, walls so thin heard elevator shaft and doors slamming all night. property beautiful location but exhausted after having sleepless night. I find it unacceptable that hotel rents out this room with condition of mattress. It wasn,t a bed but a cot.

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Kalura for one night. Really wish we had planned for longer. The views were as spectacular as the Amalfi coast. The sea was accessible right from the hotel. The water was clean and warm. We had a romantic dinner on the patio with views to the sea. The service throughout the hotel... More

Originally we planned to stay for 5 nights, but extended to 8. This is a comfortable and modern hotel with fantastic views over the coast. The hotel has a clean swimming pool which was very warm after the hot weather we had. The smaller pool was perfect for my 2.5 year old daughter, being around 0.75 deep at the deepest... More
