We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (age 8 and 10) and stayed for 2 weeks with Al Fresco. Beautiful campsite (flowers and trees everywhere) which is well kept (road sweeper and bins emptied daily) and run efficiently by generally helpful and friendly staff. Site has a fairly compact layout, so the pool, beach and shops all... More

Thank you for such a lovely review - we're really pleased to see you enjoyed your family holiday with us to Sant Angelo. We categorise the site as 'Car Recommended' so it is interesting to read your comments as it sounds like you were able to explore the area well without a car. Hopefully we will see you again next... Just returned from 13 days at Sant Angelo - another great holiday here. Very, very laid back and easy to spend the whole time reading books by the pool/beach while the kids play. Did drag ourselves off site into Venice one day, and splashed out on a gondola - 80Euros for 30 minutes or 100 Euros for 40 minutes. Not... More

We spent 12 nights here, travelling everywhere by public transport and found it relatively easy to get to by bus and vaparetto. The campsite is big and has a lovely pool and fantastic beach - we spent more time on the beach than in the pool. The supermarket seemed to stock more German varieties of food than anything else and... More

We like it! We have been already 4 times and are thinking of returning next year. Our little one is 7 yrs old and enjoys it to the maximum allowing us parents to chill out too. The Village has mostly Swiss, Danish and Dutch holiday makers, but in august also the Italians and English arrive, which gives it a very... More

I was sceptic at first but it turned out to be amazing. We stayed 2 weeks in a mobile home and everything was very clean and tidy. Pool was great, kids loved it. Lots of entertainment every day and night and even a huge fireworks one night. Only things I can think of were the mosquitoes and the pricing and... More

My girlfriend and I went June 2013 without renting a car. Easy and cheap (€8 for both of us and a suitcase) connection from Marco Polo airport to Cavallino (changing at Lido di Jesolo - very easy as new interchange). The campsite was well kept, pretty, clean facilities and helpful staff. Our Canvas caravan was a little cramped for us... More

I'm 12 and I went with my family (mum, dad and 2 sisters who were 14 and 9) and we loved it :) We stayed in a tent with Eurocamp, it was peaceful in our area and we weren't too far from the beach and pool which we both really pretty. I didn't go to the supermarket, but my mum... More

We went to sant' Angelo village in July 2012. The overall impression was clean and tidy and well run. My husband was unsure of a camping holiday, as holidays for him are about luxury. He has since said he will never go camping again! The children (boys aged 14, 11, 8 and 1) all enjoyed themselves, the facilities were good,... More

We have just returned from Sant' Angelo and have all had a relaxing holiday. The main plus points are the beach which is beautiful and directly on site. There is a beach bar and a mobile unit which sells ice-cream, drinks etc at reasonable prices. The only down side are the hawkers who roam up and down trying to sell... More

Hadn't done this kind of holiday since a student, so wasn't sure what to expect from a big campsite. Reviews on here persuaded me. Just returned from 12 days at sant Angelo, with Thomson AlFresco. The campsite is LOVELY- set in shady pine woods, with flowers lining the paths. Swimming pools were fab, our 6 year old spent hours and... More
