We (parents with 4 kids 3,5,7 &9) stayed at Marina di venezia with selectcamp for 2 weeks in August 2014. I'll keep this brief in point form as it's difficult to add to what has already been said in that : Excellent location for day trip to Venice Super clean and well maintained park Superb nightly entertainment Great presence of... We stayed 2 weeks in September - about 2 weeks prior to the closure of the site - we had anticipated it being a little disappointing because of this but the by the second week it was a pleasant quietness! The site itself is EXCELLENT whether you want a beach or pool holiday it scores 10/10 for both - we... More

Great camp site that allows you to have a beach holiday and visit venice. +ve: Great location. Nice sandy beach with gated entry. Great swimming pool complex. Walking distance to Punta Sabbioni where you can get a ferry into Venice. Onsite restaurants okay and another great restaurant just outside main entrance Average: Ferry into Venice was a bit chaotic and... More

This was our second time going to MDV, and we have booked next year already with Eurocamp in one of their fab new Aspect. My husband and I with our 2 boys ( 6 and 3) love this place. It ticks so so many boxes. Immaculately kept, location to venice, location to beach, superb entertainment, pool area, restaurants shops I... More

Family with three boys age -6,6 and 3. We have stayed 8 days at Marina di Venezia in the last week of August. Pool complex is incredible , few pools are heated, good slides and wave pool. Pool staff very strict, didn't let one of the twin have a go on the little slides as he was 1cm to high!... More

Wow!! This campground had it all!! We stayed in a safari tent that was terrific, even in a thunderstorm. The beach was right there and the waterpark was fantastic. I felt very safe and they kids roamed freely. The entertainment was great and we really enjoyed our time here. Venice and Burano are close and it was easy to get... More

We spent two weeks on site with 3 kids I agreed with previous reviews it's geared for the influx of Germans. Staff are mostly unfriendly and some even rude around the pools, we booked with Venue holidays they should rebrand to venue prison breaks there accommodation is the worst and probably have to oldest smelliest dampest mobiles left on site... Perfectly good site, as described but nearly all the staff are just so unfriendly. They don't smile and although they're polite, they're really just not interested. Also the entire guest composition is German or Dutch so the entertainment/food etc is geared towards them.

Having stayed here before, there was always the worry that standards had slipped or that they would exploit their popularity, but no, it was as good if not better than the last time. We used Thomson Al Fresco and stayed in a 2 bed one bathroom Rossini caravan with aircon. We booked it during their early bird reservation usually in... More

we stayed at this very large lively site for 10 nights. We have stayed at French campsites before this was our first time in Italy. We drove all the way one for the adventure but also so that we would have a car available as my husbund is disabled. He does not use a wheelchair but although he walks he... More
