Having stayed here before, there was always the worry that standards had slipped or that they would exploit their popularity, but no, it was as good if not better than the last time. We used Thomson Al Fresco and stayed in a 2 bed one bathroom Rossini caravan with aircon. We booked it during their early bird reservation usually in... More

we stayed at this very large lively site for 10 nights. We have stayed at French campsites before this was our first time in Italy. We drove all the way one for the adventure but also so that we would have a car available as my husbund is disabled. He does not use a wheelchair but although he walks he... More

Had an amazing time with Thomson Alfresco. Really clean mobile home in a great location. The park gas everything you need on a lovely beachside location. Restaurants we'll priced and good quality. If only the staff didn't assume you were german.! ( very popular with German holiday makers) The Alfresco reps couldn't have been more helpful. Especially Paul Evans. Perfect... More

We stayed here for a week and had a lovely shady spot in the Marina 2000 area. This is a bit of a trek from the main hub of the campsite and there's only one path to access it so that felt like a bit of a drag at times, but there's access to the beach and the main bit... More

We had a great holiday here for 11 days. Our accommodation was with Eurocamp and was clean and modern and had a lovely shady terrace. It was located in Marina 2000 section of the campsite where all the agencies such as Eurocamp, Gusto Camp, Select Camp etc are situated. However as this is a large site (Approx 100 acres) and... We have stayed at many sites across France and Italy but have never stayed at one as immaculate as this. There is an army of maintenance staff who keep the site looking very well ordered and absolutely spotless. The site is large and bikes are essential unless you want to walk five or six miles every day. I thought the... More

Just returned from mdv on Saturday. Am using this review as a means of helping people who might visit the campsite rather than knocking it, as I found tripadvisor more helpful for info than the campsite itself. As stated before this is a huge campsite but nowhere was actually too far to walk. We stayed in Marina 2000 so it... More

Just got back from MDV, we stayed in a Eurocamp mobile (2 adults, 2 boys aged 14). Really clean site and very well run. Lots of security staff around site and on beach which made it safe for children. Eurocamp staff were very helpful. I would recommend this site for families as there are lots of activities and things to... More

After staying for the last five years at Le Brasilia in the South of France we thought we would give somewhere else a try. We are a family of 6, 2 adults, 4 kids aged 22, 19 and 2 x 15 year olds (but 8 including our 2 eldest sons' girlfriends). We were also travelling with two other families. We... More

This is a big site, with a great pool complex - other reviews already say what I would, so I won't add more words on that. I tried to book directly a year in advance with no joy, as they give priority to prior year visitors and there was then no availability . Booking through Eurocamp more than doubled the... More
