Great 2 week stay, this hotel is situated inside the medievil walled village and suited our needs with lovely hot cappuccinos for breakfast and good WiFi reception, better than other hotels in the area. They also have a new apartment which would be great for two people. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The lake is beautiful however the beaches... More

Its 10 years since we last stayed at the Hotel la Torre and we were not dissapointed. The heating/ac was working efficiently. Large bedroom with a large shower room, has TV, free WiFi, hairdryer and plenty of hot water. Family run, and they speak english. Booked directly with the hotel and it was cheaper than Hotels.com and Booking.com. Cumfy beds,... More

In such a small town, it was great to have a hotel in such a central location. We had a spacious room, with a view of the lake through the buildings opposite. The staff were always friendly and willing to advise on places to eat etc. We were lucky enough to be there during an eco chocolate festival which meant... More

We spent four nights at Hotel la Torre and enjoyed the location and the hotel. The staff were very helpful with suggestions for day trips and local information. The breakfast breads were exceptional. The location in the walled city is very convenient, with several restaurants nearby, easy walking to the fortress and down to the lake for a boat trip.... More

Hotel La Torre is an excellent hotel. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. It has large rooms with a nice bath room and air conditioning. The rooms are very quiet although the hotel is at the main road. I just wish I could have stayed longer in this super hotel !

The citta vecchia of Castiglione del Lago is a little jewel of a walled medieval town. Hotel la Torre is just inside the walls and very nice. The rooms are basic, but very clean three-star rooms. The owner and staff are extremely helpful and considerate. They serve a selection of very good baked goods from the bakery next door for... More

A lovely hotel in the middle of this small town which exists for tourists. Our host was very helpful and so friendly. The small town has many good restaurants, the best being Mona Lisa, and it has many shops featuring local produce, olive wood articles and some ceramics. It is convenient for a boat tour of the lake or an... More

We stayed here 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is located right in the heart of town, so no views, although we overlooked the beautiful central street. The rooms are functional rather than beautiful butr we spent so much time wandering the locality so no problem. Breakfasts were extraordinary- the pastries were amazing. Owners are very helpful.

We have just returned from a week's stay at this excellent hotel run by Roberto Lucarelli and his sister, Simone. They are excellent hosts and are very friendly and welcoming and we felt like part of the family! The hotel was spotlessly clean. Clean towel changes every day without asking whether or not we wanted this and I the sheets... More
