Can't speak highly enough of this beautiful place and the lengths Simon & Verity go to to ensure their guests have everything they need; managing to stay attentive without being intrusive. We stayed in Il Forno; very comfortable and perfect for a cosy twosome. Verity's culinary skills are not to be missed and we enjoyed not one but two nights... More

We have just spent 12 amazing days at this gem of a place. A beautiful old property on a spectacular olive and woodland estate with views across rolling vineyards to the towers of San Gimignano in the distance. The perfect retreat from which to sample the historic towns of Chianti, its glorious wines and food (we did plenty of that)...or... More

We spent 2 weeks here.Great location for Tuscany destinations. Owners are very attentive to needs. Beautiful, relaxing views surround the villa and the pool is a refreshing after touring about. Several villages near by for groceries or restaurant options. Great breakfast served upon request and fun once a week meal offered at the villa. We had an outdoor movie night... More

We stayed here for 9 days in late September/early october--the majority of our honeymoon. I can't recommend it highly enough. The location is perfect. As everyone else says, Simon and Verity were wonderful hosts. The rustic building and surroundings were exactly what we wanted. We stayed in La Terazza--a beautiful room, with its own private patio. Just a warning--this suite... More

What a brilliant place! Loved the relaxed atmosphere, walks, food, landscape and Verity's cooking... the Tuscan feast was deeeeelicious: Pistachio and rose petal cake monumental. All well oiled with Prosecco and Chianti Classico. Thanks to Simon and Verity, Donna and Charlie and Lola for ensuring we had a lovely lovely break.

We booked to stay for two weeks largely on the strength of the overwhelmingly positive online reviews, and we found that the place more than lived up to the hype. The location is perfect. It is sufficiently secluded to feel away from it all, but perfectly situated for trips out to explore the surrounding Tuscan towns and villages. The views... More

We cannot be more delighted with the outstanding venue and hospitality at Podere Patrignone. Simon and Verity are amazing hosts! We have stayed in Caminetto twice and absolutely loved the privacy, views and peace! When we arrive, there is fresh bread, and a little meat and cheese (not to mention some wine!) awaiting us! What a wonderful surprise after a... More

It was our 3rd visit to Patrignone, where we had planned a dream wedding in one of the most beautiful locations in Tuscany. The hosts created a laid back relaxed atmosphere, while managing to help plan a fantastic wedding & pull out the stops for a stunning reception meal on the Terrace, We can't thank Simon & Verity enough for... This is a lovely place to stay if you are looking for beautiful views, friendly hosts and a central location in chianti. Add comfortable beds, super clean accommodations and rustic charm. Truly wonderful vacation experience! I would go back again, it was that nice.

If you are looking for a relaxed and cultural Italian experience in the perfect Tuscan setting then this is for you. My partner and I stayed in a very charming 1 bedroom apartment (part for the Podere Patrignone) and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The property is set in a stunning location surrounded by olive groves and vineyards and overlooking the... More
