We spent one night in this secluded agriturismo and will definitely be coming back. The place is situated along a gravel road about a half hour walk from Castelina in Chianti and has fantastic views of the Tuscan countryside. The owners were lovely and helpful and the food was amazing! Would definitely recommend!

From the arrival, we felt very welcomed by the hosts, Stella and Ettore. The room is furnished tastefully and terrace is also relaxing with views with cipresso on the hill. We stayed three nights and visited some of wineries and lovely little villages closeby, according to tips that Stella gave us. Enjoyed local foods from the menu of the day... More

Located a few minutes drives from the beautiful village of Castelina in Chianti this lovely place was our home for three days in September. We where greeted by Anya who checked us in and showed us up to the room which was appointed in a classical way and had a balcony, very nice! We had dinner each night and it... More

Villa di capovento is an authentic Chianti aurigtismo. Picturesque location, sweet room with balcony, quaint and small Tuscan farmstay. Lovely staff, beautiful food for dinner and breakfast. This Is a great base to explore the Chianti region.

This for me was a true Tuscan experience. The location is beautiful on the top of a hill with typical Tuscan views, especially from the swimming pool! It's quiet and peacful. The rooms are really nice. The owners also cook the dinner which is good quality and good value. I highly recommend this place for laid back holidays.

It has been a long time since we have been here on our honeymoon. When I think back of our trip through Italy, this comes to my mind first (and we stayed in more than 10 hotels during our three-weeks-roadtrip)! The rooms are just fantastic - not very big, but so cozy, well appointed and clean. Nice little balcony. I... More

What an amazing experience my husband and I had at the beautiful Capovento. The location is wondrous. The views breathtaking. The owners incredibly helpful. The suite with the spa was a true delight. The meals delicious. It is truly an experience not to be missed if you are visiting Chianti. We arrived at the villa after driving down this wonderful... More

We highly recommend this hotel first because of its location, secondly because the hosts (a lovely couple) do there utmost to keep guests happy and obviously being in chianti region the selection of ham, cheese and wine make it the cherry on the cake.

Very beautiful property with a panoramic outdoor swimming pool and great local food. The price for 1 night is not cheap, but the service is exceptional. I think there are only 6 guest rooms or so, and from the moment you arrive you feel expected and welcome. The owners are friendly, helpful yet discrete, and speak very good English. The... More

Very good little hotel, in the middle of nowhere. 2,5 kilometres from a little village in Tuscany. With a nice pool in the garden. It's quiet and clean, with a very good staff. They have a lot of local spirits, wine, tuscan beer etc.
