If you want a real Tuscan experience, this is the place to stay. Stella and Ettore are the perfect hosts at this charming and beautiful B&B. The rooms are furnished with antiques and are immaculate. There is no need to have dinner anywhere else, as the food is absolutely fresh and fabulous (as is breakfast)! Our two night stay was... More

A beautiful place with very comfortable rooms which were immaculate. The views all around are amazing. We had the room with a terrace which was lovely. The breakfast and evening meal were delicious. Lots of homemade food.

We chose to stay here, as it situated close to Siena. The villa is charming and we were given a room with a terrace, with amazing views across the hills. The owners were very welcoming and could not have been more helpful. Ettore's cooking is fantastic - both breakfast and dinner were first class. We very rarely stay at the... More

A beautiful setting with great hosts. The first thing that struck us was how quiet the area was. So peaceful! Central to many sites in Tuscany, Stella and Etteros? (Spelling?) were very knowledgable about the area and able to provide great advice. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the home cooked meals were fantastic. We really enjoyed our... More

The hotel is run be the owners with graet care who are very helpful and the service is excellent. It is a charming and quiet place and very central to all interesting places in Toscany. It is close to an olive farm and offers stunning views. The food is home made (bread, cake etc.) and delicious.

Here for 4 nights. Hosts Stella, Ettore (and baby Laura, who we saw occasionally but never heard) were very friendly, welcoming and helpful with excellent knowledge of the local area. It is well worth the 5-minute drive on an unpaved road to reach this out-of-the-way, quiet property that has wonderful views from the rooms, swimming pool and large gardens. Ettore... More

We had a wonderful holiday staying at Capovento. The views are stunning, the rooms incredibly comfortable and the welcome and service efficient and friendly. The location was convenient for touring beautiful Tuscan villages and towns by car and the home cooked food was a real treat. Every breakfast was carefully prepared and beautifully presented with freshly made yoghurts, juices, smoothies,... More

The first word that comes to mind when I think about Capovento is graceful. This is because the property has an inherent grace to it and the service provided by Stella and Ettore is always provided in a graceful way. We were lucky enough to stay there for three nights in June. The property is located a couple kilometers off... More

We spent 6 nights based in Capovento while we relaxed and toured the local area. From the moment we arrived we were made so welcome, as other comments have reflected, Stella and Ettore are fantastic hosts. The location and setting were beautiful - uninterrupted views, amazing infinity pool and not another hotel for miles. We stayed in the King room... More

We spent one night in this secluded agriturismo and will definitely be coming back. The place is situated along a gravel road about a half hour walk from Castelina in Chianti and has fantastic views of the Tuscan countryside. The owners were lovely and helpful and the food was amazing! Would definitely recommend!
