Even though we went to this hotel out of season, the staff were attentive, helpful and made us feel like we were part of their family.
Everything we needed seemed to be pre-empted and there was nothing that the staff wouldn't do for us. Ringing for taxies, restaurant recommendations, etc.

La Medusa is one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff was exemplary, the pool was lovely, gorgeous gardens. Conde Nast all the way! The major drawback to staying here is the isolated location. Great place if you are happy to chill at the hotel but I would stay in Sorrento next time.

I agree you absolutely need a car to stay here. That's the only down side.
This is a really nice hotel, beautiful grounds, extremely friendly and helpful staff, lovely rooms. It looks and feels like they pay a lot of attention to the little details. I'm not sure why this hotel only has 4 stars, it's definitely better than most...
