Stayed here as part as a Trafalgar tour, rooms very dated, small hard single beds, room was large by European standards, bathroom small, in its day I'm sure it was excellent, bit of a labyrinth, lifts very slow, take the stairs, nice terrace bar, the mature gentleman on the front desk was extremely helpful, lovely, breakfast basic. 10 minutes from... We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel on our tour of Italy with Trafalgar Tours, The hotel is situated in a very run down area with rubbish dumped everywhere, If we had been on our own and not on an escorted trip we would have turned around and found another hotel in a different location. The hotel and rooms... More

I stayed in the last week of Aug as a solo traveller and was very pleased with the standard of the hotel and the location. The food in the resteraunt is excellent and I slept well each night in the comfortable bed. If you enjoy being close to the beach front then this hotel is ideally situated to take advantage... More

So where to start. After reading so many negative reviews about the hotel and resort, we (my brother and I) were a little nervous about the place. Before we stayed I emailed the hotel asking to check that we had a twin room and sea view, and they were really quick to respond. When we arrived they knew who we... More

I was looking for an inexpensive option for a few weeks in this area. What I found completely surpassed my expectations! The Stabia is a grand hotel, worth exploring for it's hidden lounges, restaurant and the amazing breakfast area. Absolute waterfront location, with exceptional views of Vesuvius makes breakfast and cappuccino each day rather special. I have to qualify the... More

This hotel is better than many of the reviews posted on this site The rooms were clean and the AC worked sufficiently in the hot August weather. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was not only well stocked but it was served on the rooftop providing great views of the coast. Granted Castellamarre Di Stabia is not Sorento... More

We have just returned from a 5 day break at this hotel. Whilst the town is a little run down, the hotel is absolutely charming. The rooms are a good size with wonderful views across the Bay of Naples and of Vesuvius. The staff could not be more helpful - they provided excellent tips on restaurants, visiting local sites of... Visiting the bay of Naples this is a good hotel as it is close to lots of attractions; it has excellent reception personnel and a great team welcoming you and helping you with luggage and other items. They could serve a richer breakfast being a 4* hotel. The view from the 7th floor is great and the Vesuvius is 'in... More

We stayed at hotel Stabia as part of Trafalgar Splenders of Italy the hotel was a lovely well cared for and the interior had a period theme throughout. The room we had was a little small and we had to stack the suit cases as there was no room to store two cases. There was wifi free in the sitting... More
