Our first holiday together as a couple and my first time abroad, I.wouldn't change a thing about the holiday. Hotel Europa is a clean, comfortable and homely hotel, the staff are wonderful and all dedicated to their job and nothing is ever too much trouble for them, we genuinely felt as though we were their V.I.P. guests and that the... I was recently introduced to the Hotel by a very good friend and I was not disappointed at all. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by the friendly receptionist and the General Manager who all speak very good English. The services offered are five star services. Very clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds and mesmerizing views of the surrounding mountains. Furthermore, its... More

Hotel itself is extremely clean and well maintained. Rooms spacious and functional. Front reception staff very welcoming and friendly. Bar and waiting staff although very friendly have considerable training issues. The only place we have ever been to where a gin and tonic was not a recognised term and unable to pour a bottled beer without it going over the... More

This would be a good base if you were travelling by car but not by public transport. The hotel is about 2 miles from the nearest train station which is a long walk with bags. The hotel runs a free shuttle service to the town centre but only at 9:30, 1:30 or 5:00pm. Otherwise they charge 10 Euros per person... More

Very nice hotel, the room have enough space, perfect view to volcano, the staff was very helpful for every information you need. The breakfast was poor but nice. The owner Mr Francesco was very nice traditional Italian man and very very helpful for everything.

We stayed at the Hotel Europa for four nights, centred around a friend's wedding. As soon as we arrived, the manager Francesco came out to greet us personally, and this set the standard for the rest of the visit - the phrase "nothing was too much trouble" could have been invented for him. The wedding was in Positano which is... More

I can only reiterate what others have said. Francesco made us feel very welcome on arrival. My eight year old was unwell and he showed genuine care. The hotel is well placed on the route between Amalfi and Naples and close to Pompeii. it offers excellent value for money on the coast.
