Nestled in the back yards of several residential buildings (so much so that you cannot see it from the street) this 18 room hotel is a beauty. Surrounded by trees this domaine is very private and the large gates at the entrance ensure security. Parking is no problem with the underground parking. The staff is very friendly and helpful with... More

What a diamond in the rough! We changed our plans last minute and needed a transit hotel between Naples and Rome, and I found this on the web. At first we were concerned, as this part of Caserta was not particularly nice. But the hotel is this fantastic oasis, and the gentleman who ran the place could not have been... More

This hotel is really great. I chose it based on Trip Advisor reviews and was not disappointed. We needed a hotel for just one night to break up travel between Rome and the Amalfi coast. I would try to find an excuse to revisit this hotel if traveling anywhere nearby in the future. Afterr driving through some very narrow streets... More

Excellent stay at the Villa Maria Cristina while attending a concert in Caserta. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. A short 5-10 minute walk gets you to any area of the Reggia side of Caserta downtown (although you do have to cross the train tracks, but this is not even a remote concern on this road with huge gates... I could imagine this place being very diificult to find if it were not in the database of google map. All the streets leading up to the hotel (including the last alley that leads up to its gate) were not very pleasant, filled with people and ordinary shops, although the location is absoluely central and only 12 min walk away... You might have trouble finding this hotel situated in an urban area with hardly a clue to its whereabouts. We arrived at night and had trouble spotting its lonely sign indicating a trip down a very small street to be met by imposing gates and a lovely garden. Underground free parking was a bonus and hotel staff were friendly and... More

When we arrived in Caserta, we looked for Hotel Villa Maria Cristina signs, but there were none. I went into the stazione and asked for directions, but they were wrong. Finally, someone gave us the right directions -- turn into the second street on the right and cross the railroad tracks. There was a locked gate and we were let... More

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Extremely clean and simply decorated in a contemporary style. Friendly and helpful staff willing to assist with anything. We did not get a chance to swim, but the pool is situated in a lovely garden and looked very inviting. As a family of five we had two adjoining rooms which gave us plenty of... More

Stayed here for 4 nights as a base for visiting Pompei, Vesuvius etc and it was a lovely stay. The room was huge and very well maintained. I loved the big walk in wardrobe! The surrounding area isn't necessarily the greatest but safe enough to go out for a wander and when you go through the gates to the hotel... More

Caserta is not a town that many could love but as others have said, this hotel is an oasis of calm in the lively chaos outside. It is a 10 minute walk from La Reggia di Caserta which was our reason for visiting. The hotel was in the final stages of building work and is a very short distance from... More
