Just been there. A modern and fine hotel especially suited for families with children. The facilities are excellent but the service doesn't have the same standard but of course this is an apartment hotel where you are supposed to be on your own. The receptionists and hotel staff are not very helpful and speak little else than Italian.

We recently stayed at the Villaggio Hemingway for a week from 16 August. Unlike the previous poster we didn't have any real problems with mossies when we were there. I got a couple of bites but the rest of the family didn't get any and we were able to sit outside in the evenings and didn't use any mosquito repellant.... More
