The reception was very nice. I did a mistake in the reservation and they changed me without any problem resolving even the problem with web reservation company I used. The joint restaurant is very good (advise "Tagliata la selva", very kind and nice without being introusive.

I stayed one night at Hotel La Selva. They charged me double times. They did not pay my money back. I have paid to Hotel La Selva and hotel.com. Both of them did not take care of my money. I hated to this hotel and hotels.com. I several times called this hotel and hotels.com. But there is no result. IT... More

We found this after a long drive our way to Florence when we had a less-than spectacular sightseeing day in Italy. One bad thing was that their machine was done and we couldn't pay with card, but they let us check in anyway. It still wasn't working the next morning when we checked out, so they just took the cash... More

This hotel had a lovely landscape which was what attracted us in the first place. A beautiful garden with lots of trees, flowers and plants, just what we imagined Florence to be. The location was a short drive away from the city centre. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was quite nice with heaps of organic products, breads,... More

My organization hosted a multi-day conference at the hotel and our group had a great time. We appreciated the hospitality of the hotel and restaurant staff. Our group was well-served and we enjoyed being the only ones in this small country hotel. The staff worked with us to accommodate the needs of our group. We would certainly consider hosting another... More

We arrived after 1am at the hotel, after a six hour drive, and the manager greeted us warmly - despite us arriving well past our check-in time. The natural landscape around this small hotel was spectacular and it was a pleasant contrast to some of the busy locations that are full of tourists. Our room was comfortable and clean, and... More

We ordered 4 beds and got 2 beds and 2 bunkbeds. Not great as we were 4 adults. No help from bookings to resolve....and luckily the hotel nightmanager was... More

We chose this hotel as an overnight stay after exploring Florence. The hotel is in the countryside well away from the highway, so it took a while to get there. There was some sort of banquet going on the first floor where the restaurant was but it was still open to the public. We were not too keen to dine... More

Goodmorning Mr.Serge A, we thank you for taking 2 minutes of your time to review our hotel. We are very surprised and disappointed about what we read. In 40 years of work, like you can see on the reviews of Tripadvisor, Booking.com etc., no one ever told us that he had found bugs in the hotel. We think that unfortunately... More

A nice, quiet place out in the country, but only 40 minutes from Florence. Several good restaurants within 5 km each way. Nice rooms, some with airy balconies. Nice staff. Negatives: a couple of dangerous steps to watch out for, a bit of freeway noise in the distance, and it can get noisy on the patio and around the entrance.... More

The staff wandered about aimlessly, seemingly unable to so much as dim the blinding lights on each balcony (there is no switch in the room). Staff slammed doors everywhere with vigor and enthusiasm--much the same way Italians use their horns in traffic--and there appears to be no soundproofing in the building. There is a freeway bridge spanning the canyon directly... More
