Although the room was quite basic it was clean and had everything we needed. What made this hotel so good was the amazing service from staff who were all genuinely lovely people, always willing to help. The breakfast and dinners were absolutely excellent, better than I've had in many a 5* hotel. We hired bikes from the hotel and went... More

What can I say beyond 5 stars! This wonderful hotel and staff went beyond our wildest expectations. The staff, the rooms, the bike amenities, the restaurant, etc., etc., was simply incredible. One of our bike buddies had been there 2 years prior and had raved about this hotel and the wonderful experience. So, we coordinated with 5 of our bike... More

This hotel is OK, very geared up at the cycling market due to its location. My room was small, especially the bed and shower, but was clean and I managed a good sleep once the noise had died down (I was at the front of the hotel, noise due to traffic and kids having ice cream!) Breakfast was nice, and... More

Great hospitality from all the folks running the hotel, from the front desk (esp Anna) to the dining room. Good spread of food for breakfast and some great dinner options too. Place looked spick and span and the afternoon tea for cyclists is a boon after a day of riding the mountains. Well-stocked and large bike garage. Highly recommended.

This place puts the "fun" in funivia. If you are a cyclist, I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Daniele and the rest of the Stelvio Experience team are amazing, whether you are old and slow like me, or a fit young competitor like others there. The Gavia night ride was incredible, and to have dinner and descend in darkness with... More

Absolutely top class hotel in a top class location with top class staff! Could not fault this hotel, location, staff or service! We first saw a leaflet of the stelvio experience and hotel funivia at a bike expo in Melbourne and thought that would be nice for one day so we kept it and whilst on a family visit to... More

A friend and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Hotel Funivia. The facility itself is very attractive and is in a beautiful setting (Bormeo, Italy). The hosts Daniele and Elisa are very knowledgeable of the area (to say the least) and everyone at the hotel is very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed meeting and talking with Anna at the... We stayed there for the first time from 20-25 June to cycle all the routes around Bormio. We were blown away by the excellent cycling storage and fully kitted workshop available to all.The hotel even arranged a mechanic to come in one day to smooth out small irritations on the bikes. Rooms were great , laundry was super efficient and... More
