Crammed 3 big rides into 3 days, made possible by the Funivia. The Funivia exceeded all expectations. Perfectly placed, comfortable accommodation, excellent and sufficient food (with a great local wine list) served by friendly and helpful staff. Everything you could want in a hotel, staff had a can-do attitude. I can't wait to get back next year.

Spent a week at the hotel Funivia early September and had a great experience. Contact with the amazingly helpful Anna to arrange a booking put me instantly at ease. Like most visitors outside of the ski season I was there to explore the mountains by bike and to this end the hotel ticked every box. I was able to hire... More

We stayed here with a group of cyclists. The rooms were recently renovated en spacious with excellent showers. At evening there was a cheerful ambience and a tasty diner. However, it were the bikes that enjoyed our stay most. The were lodged in the most excellently equipped garage you will ever find. Based on the location at the foot of... More

Everything was extremely well organized for bicyclists. I highly recommend staying there! The rides were great, lots of fun climbing. The guides and van support made the days much easier. The rental bikes were very high quality. The food was delicious, and I liked having the meals buffet-style. The price was all-inclusive and was reasonable. Everyone was very helpful. I... More

I travel quite a bit but I don't often write reviews. Hotel Funivia in Bormio is truly outstanding in its field as a bike hotel. From the moment I arrived I felt comfortable. The staff goes "beyond the call" to take care of you. The staff at the front desk, the restaurant staff, the bike guides and the owner all... More

If you're cycling in Bormio there probably isn't a better choice for service!! Pros: Room was well appointed and very clean (our room faced the street with a wonderful view towards the Stelvio) and wasn't noisy at all, WiFi was excellent, location couldn't be better (close to the old town) with convenient off-street parking, fully equipped bike workshop downstairs, prestige... We 'Club 33 - Rodal Cycling Team' stayed with 43 persons in Hotel Funivia between September 3 and 7, 2014 for our summer cycling holidays. The service that Hotel Funivia is offering to cycling teams (but also individuals) is OUTSTANDING: Nice breakfast, sandwich & banana as food during your tour, fully equipped bike room, perfect dinner, good rooms, a nice... Fantastic hotel and staff are absolutely great (especially Anna and Danielle from Transylvania) My husband I came here for a cycling holiday and it certainly was geared up for this. It has a special bike room with space to hang the bikes and all the tools you might need during your stay. The rooms are good, beds very comfortable and... More

Being 5 days around the famous Stelvio pass, cycling from morning till the afternoon, we were enormous encouraged by the gentle and professional help of the people in the hotel. Starting with the support of a strong breakfast, a lunch pakket underway and at finish the tea time moment with sweets, cheese and meat. Bikes are held in a protected... More
