This is my 2nd trip to Bormio and Hotel La Genzianell, all in all the hotel is amazing, very friendly staff, food excellent and the rooms clean.....I don't think we I need to say much more as the reviews before mine sum it up...I only want to add that we are considering coming back in Sept for a walking holiday... more

We were a party of 12 family and friends staying at the Genzianella. This really is a beautifully run hotel, from check-in to evening meals, everything runs like clockwork. The rooms are spotlessly clean with the maids even taking on the task of tidying up clothes strewn all over the floor by the teenagers in our party (definitely beyond the... more

This is a first-rate hotel that is exceptionally priced for the high-quality experience. It is efficiently run, filled with convenient extra amenities, and the family and staff who serve you take personal pride and pleasure in treating guest right. We loved this place. There were 11 of us on a bicycling tour to northern Italy, so we were kind of... more

We were a group of 10 cyclists planning to ride the Stelvio, Gavia and Mortirolo passes nearby. The hotel is superbly equipped for cyclists from the food served, to the bike store and workshop, and visiting masseuse for tired legs. It is the hotel staff who really make the Genzianella such a fabulous place to stay. For the charming family... more

We have just returned from a short trip to Bormio and we had a brilliant stay at the Genzianella. The Genzianella is a very well run and charming hotel . The food was excellent with local dishes served every night to accompany more recognised favourites. We were on holiday with our 6 month old baby and the Genzianella Staff were... more

I spent two weeks in a complete immersion course in the discreet charms of the Valtellina in April of 2008, my first experience of an Italian ski resort. I can only say that the experience was so convincing that I doubled the initial length of my proposed stay. I particularly appreciated the calm (though never comatose,as I might have feared)... more

We stayed at the Genzianella for the second time in February this year and appreciated even more how special this hotel is. The slopes are just across the road and the pretty medieval village is just a few minutes walk away so position wise it is perfect. But it is the welcome from the family, the immaculate rooms and the... more

We have stayed at Hotel La Genzianella every year for the past 3 years. This is our favorite hotel in Italy! The Staff are Fantastic and we always feel at home there. They are also very helpful with all of our requests. The food is first rate and compares to the best resturants around. We look forward to staying there... more

The Hotel Genzianella is just perfect. You will not be disappointed by the quality of accommodation, the exquisite cuisine and above all, the warm welcome provided by all the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. We have enjoyed many stays at this hotel both during the summer and winter months and will continue to re-book in the years to come.... more
