Great location (walking distance to town), very close to France and two beautiful villages in the mountains: Apricale and Dolceaqua- both must be visited. In fact I would recommend staying in Apricale but book early. Good breakfast although you only get one coffee. Tea is free instead. The pool is small but good enough to wet yourself. It is set... Villa Elisa is a beautiful old building surrounded by lovely gardens full of flowers and orange trees. Our first impressions were very good, the young woman on reception (with the tiny dog!) was extremely helpful and friendly and a credit to Villa Elisa. We had reserved a superior room in the main part of the house, whose communal areas were... More

We absolutely loved this well run hotel. It will definitely get 5 stars form me if the rooms are renovated with more luxurious style. The Room We had a suite with a separate seating area, bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a big balcony facing south. The room was clean and the maintenance was good. Few things that would make the room... We stayed here for a few days whilst touring the Italian Riviera. We had read reviews and were not disappointed by what we found. Friendly staff, very relaxed surroundings, clean spacious rooms and good food. The hotel is really well located, an easy walk to the beach and the very interesting old town. It also boasts it's own pool which... More

Very pretty, european style hotel. Above the frey, but close enough to walk everywhere. Quiet gardens surround the pool area. Nice breakfast in sunny solarium style dining room. Will book again on next trip!

Spend a week in this hotel with my family in August. It´s located a short walk from the old town, the "city center" and the beach. The hotel area is beautiful with the frontside covered with flowers, orange, lemon and lime trees while the backside has a pool, a place to have lunch and a playground area with its own... More

We stopped here for one night and found the hotel by accident after searching for a while for a hotel with a vacancy. Compared with the grotty (and possibly self appointed) 3 star hotels in town this hotel is fantastic and an easily 4 star. Judging by the clientele this is a popular hotel for discerning travelers. Very well furnished... More

Villa Elisa is a perfect hotel to explore the Italian (flower) Riviera. On a street where you can spot beautiful villas during a walk, Villa Elisa is near the boulevard and the sea (5-10 min. walk). The hotel has an old feel to it with high ceilings and windows, shutters, but with modern techniques such as AC and a good... More
