We were not prepared for half a days skiing upon arrival at 12 noon as we would have had to unpack and change in the toilets. The check-in was 5 hours later than our arrival so we had lunch and waited for our room bored stiff. The shops are a bus ride away and also closed until 3.30pm so the... More

We arrived and were prepared with ski wear to change into so that we could head onto slopes for half a day on the Sunday as we knew from reviews that room would not be ready until late afternoon so this worked well. Lovely Sylvio in reception was very helpful and arranged dinner out on slopes and snowcat ride which... More

Reception staff very helpful. However non availability of rooms on arrival until minimum 5pm is not acceptable when travellers exhausted and wearing non ski clothing. Rooms are spotlessly clean and well equipped. Lovely balconies with superb views. Location is unbeatable given that ski school is immediately outside the hotel. It's a bit of a treck to the nearest supermarket. We... More

Location excellent, doorstep skiing. We arrived by train from Paris, its 10 minute taxi ride to Campo Smith, 10 euros. Rooms clean. Plenty of towels. Rooms really warm that we slept with the window open at night. Showers were always hot. Excellent value for what we paid. Staff helpful, they organised a evening meal on the slopes and taxi to... We had a family holiday and stayed in an apartment at Campo Smith, it was a lovely apartment with everything you could need, and very clean. The location is fantastic and there are lots of restaurants nearby to choose from, we just wished the supermarket was a bit closer. The reception staff were very helpful, and took time to help... Take no notice of the negative comments, this was a lovely place to stay. We went with our family had two apartments next to each other. Yes its not the ritz but it was lovely and clean. There were lots of china kitchen equipment, there was a microwave, a 4 ring hob, no kettle but a coffee maker. Bedding and... More

Spent a week in a studio flat in five person with a dog. Flat was sufficiently large to accomodate us all, but with very poor furnitures. position perfect for skying as slopes are just outside the door nicer part was that our dog was welcome and well accepted in the whole area

The place is a complete dive! The rooms are run down, old and without bare essentials you'd expect in any accommodation. The staff on reception greet you with a couldn't give a toss attitude and helping customers no where on their agenda. It's been a horrible experience and if anything positive comes from this I hope it's to help other... More

Very enjoyable holiday with the apartment directly on the slopes, perfect for children and the snow conditions were excellent. We had a spacious apartment. Excellent Italian restaurant in complex with an excellent family bar in the basement where we were looked after and entertained by Liam the barman. - John Roche and family from Ireland

Went back skiing to Bardonecchia. There were 4 of us booked into the apartment and an extra bed was required, which was not within the requirements of the let, but which was provided expeditiously by the management. This is one of the things we liked about the place - they were very human and not rigid - they would help... More
