Went back skiing to Bardonecchia. There were 4 of us booked into the apartment and an extra bed was required, which was not within the requirements of the let, but which was provided expeditiously by the management. This is one of the things we liked about the place - they were very human and not rigid - they would help... More

We stayed for a weekend in room 3301 (after having refused rooms 8101 and one other). The rooms are basic, run down (beds, curtains, general upkeep) and the hotel (large concrete structure on the slopes away from Bardonecchia center) is noisy. The reception is extremely friendly and tries to help out where possible. Breakfast is not included but there are... More

This wasn't a bad holiday but there were many things which I was disappointed with, therefore I think 3 is a fair rating. I travelled here in the first week of March 2014 with my husband and two children (8 and 4). I have been waiting to resolve issues with my travel company which is why I've held off doing... More

We travelled as a family (2 adults and child aged 9) to Campo Smith last week. Had amazing weather ( all but the last day). We had a 1 bed apt - all on 1 floor for us not like some of th others seemed to have had - and out balcony overlooked the slopes towards Cipos 9 meant we... More

We travelled as a group of 7 of mixed ages to Campo Smith in late February 2014 and had two 1 bedroomed apartments. Location is superb, almost ski in ski out and is only a couple of minutes walk to the main ski lift in Campo Smith. The apartments themselves are quite modern with ample room and storage and split... Excellent location for multi-generation family skiing. Ski-lifts at the doorsteps. Very competent and helpful receptionists. Special appreciation to Beatrice who does her best to solve numerous problems of the visitors. Lack of grocery shop on the complex is disadventage.

We are a family of 6 (47,46,23,20,19 and 16) and have just spent a week skiing here and the snow conditions were excellent. Campo smith is in a great location however the walk to the slopes with your skis etc is a bit testing!! We used The Bardonecchia ski School 'Manuela' who was excellent and comes highly recommended. We are... More

We had an excellent week in Campo Smith, right next to chairlift, bar / restaurant on site. Half hour walk to nearest supermarket if self catering, not a huge choice of restaurants close by but Bars / restaurants at Campo Smith had a varied menu and reasonable prices. Our only problem was only 3 towels provided for a family of... More

Ideally situated right next to the piste/Smith chairlift, and opposite Cipo's Bar (the apperitivos not to be missed!), together with a handy ski locker included, this was exactly what we wanted. Having read other reviews, we knew that service may not exactly be that great, or upkeep of the place, but despite this the price and location was so good,... More

We spent 1 week in campo smith, I will try to be very simple and direct: Pros- easy for skiing, large room, lots of storages, modern architecture. Cons- Noise from dragging furniture on top floor, not many restaurant near by, only one toilet roll for the week, very small shower room. general overview - Bardo is a nice resort for... More
