This was our first time at Lake Garda. The location of the Hotel was great, just a few metres from the shore and a 10 min walk into town. I did read a rewiew before our visit about the number of Germans there but after being there a while I think we were outnumbered by about 20/1. The food was... More

I'm not entirely convinced that every aspect of this hotel was 4 star but on the whole it was a good stay, if a little on the expensive side. My Mum and I stayed for a week last September and had no real complaints of the facilties or staff. We stayed bed and breakfast. The rooms were a decent size,... More

My wife and I stayed at the Gritti whilst on a 9 day coach tour of Lake Garda. The facilities were excellent although the food was average. The hotel is situated on the banks of the lake a short walk to the centre of the main town of Bardolino. The town is awesome with wonderful Restraurants and a shopper paradise.... More

We went as group of fifty with rooms placed throughout the hotel. We were lucky and had a room on the third floor which although a little small was well appointed and had a lovely balcony. However if you were on the first or second floor there were stories of dirty carpets and curtains, showers over the bath and dirty... More

Recently went for a week's holiday here taking the half board option. The setting was beautiful and the receptionists and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful and courteous. In fact the receptionists made us feel at home from the very beginning and are one of the strengths of the complex. The room was fine and we had a lovely view over... My husband and I stayed here for the Bardolino Wine Festival (which I must say was wonderful and we will be going again next year). When we arrived we were welcomed at reception by friendly helpful staff. The reception area is large, bright and modern as is the bar in reception. The rest of the hotel is quite tired and... More

Dear Alison, thank you for your review. We're happy that you enjoyed our location and facilities. As for the furniture and decor, our hotel has undergone a major refurbishment lately, in the reception area, the bar area and several rooms. Our non-refurbished rooms are furnished in a traditional, elegant fashion—yet, if you don't like them, our reception staff, if asked,... More

Stayed recently in the Parc Gritti. We travelled with Thompson Lakes and Mountains and found them very efficient. Everything went very smoothly, transfers etc were efficient. The couriers were very good, especially Krysia who was very informative and helpful. We would use Thompson again based on our experience on this holiday. On arrival we had been allocated one of the... More

Dear Shalis, thank you for your review. We are happy that all in all you had a good experience. As for the food, we try to offer a wide choice of starters, first and second courses; of course we understand that our offer cannot cater for every one of our guests. We would like to know more about the reason... More

Holidayed at the Gritti last week; booked through Thomson lakes and Mountains. Come on Thomson, this was NOT a four star hotel. Apart from the excellent location and basic spa facilities, the hotel could not be given that status. The rooms were tired and dated. We paid extra for a balcony which looked out onto a huge ventilation unit and... More

Dear Julia, thank you for your review. We're sorry for your experience. As for the rooms, we have several refurbished rooms; guests can ask for an update, if they don't like the traditional ones, which nonetheless are furnished in an elegant way and are provided with all the comforts for a cosy holiday. We're sorry about the food. We would... More

Hotel itself is charming but certainly but definitely not 4 star standard, situated next to the lake with views of the lake from the pool area . Our room overlooked the wood hence was very dark, but remained cool throughout. The bathroom desperately needed updating, black grout in the shower/bath around the tub was completely unacceptable, hairline cracks in the... More

Just returned from a week at Parc Hotel Gritti and the positives are Great position right on the Lake. Only a five minute walk into central Bardolina and Ferry Port. We were told by our Travel Agent that Hotel had 3 Restaurants but quite often only 2 were open and 1 of them had to be pre- booked so this... More

Dear Helen, thank you for your review. We're sorry for your experience of our food. We will take your opinion into account to offer a wider selection of starters. We're sorry you couldn't have an upgrade; anyway our non-refurbished rooms are surely as comfortable as the new ones. We would like to see you again in Bardolino... Kind regards More
