We were on a winter sports holiday and spent a very comfortable week here. The hotel is efficiently run but is not so formal that guests might feel uncomfortable. Nothing seems too much trouble and all staff are friendly and accommodating, happy to share information and answer questions about the area. The food was good - lots of fresh vegetables... More

We initially booked in for 3 nights and ended up staying for 10. Great location for biking and walking in the mountains. We stayed in a comfort room which was large, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast and evening meals were good quality with lots of variety, and plenty of good, reasonably priced wines. The hotel is geared up for cyclists,... More

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights recently and were totally impressed. The entire hotel was spotless and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The room we had was fabulous - large, clean and an amazing view of the Dolomites. The meals (breakfast and supper) were delicious. I can only find one negative... More

This is a recently updated 3 star hotel, but feels as if it should be a much higher rating. The style and quality of the building is very tasteful and the building is of a high standard and very well maintained. The comfort rooms are much larger than standard hotel rooms and have separate bathroom (with bath and shower) and... More

The hotel offers such a great package that there is really nothing to add to it. The family Irsara together with an exceptionally professional staff will pamper you till the last minute of your stay. The hotel itself has been renovated and offers a great variety of neo old and modern state of the art features. We have always chosen... More

I spent nearly two weeks in the Melodia while on a walking holiday, and would thoroughly recommend it: relaxed atmosphere but very well organised; quiet in the evenings but not stuffy. The hotel is family-run, and the matriarch of the family is very hands-on, ensuring everything is in good order. The food is very good: not pretentious or elegant, but... More

This was such a lovely hotel. Situated in one of the quieter villages in the Dolomites it has everything you need. The upgraded rooms (comfort) are modern and spacious, with all mod cons; the staff are very attentive and usually trilingual (!); the food is fabulous; the willingness to give advice on walks, climbs, cycle/ driving routes - really there... We can't recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived we were treated fantastically well. Our comfort room had a stunning view and was spotlessly clean and had some clever features such as a bathtub with a mountain view. We have dietary needs that were catered for and we loved the delicious food in abundant portions ! As... More
