Only better use of it's own facilities could lift this hotel into the Excellent bracket. When you got it, your really should flaunt it! They had it and need to use it better.
Cleaning staff? Impressive! Reception staff? Probably ex-diplomatic staff and very helpful and always pleasant in tackling any matter arising during our stay, including weather reports!
Bar staff? Top shelf and ever willing to stay up late.
Meals were certainly first rate, though a bit repetitive if you were there two weeks. Perhaps too many eggs in the recipes and dessert always pleased the eye better than the palate, but the pasta was always PERFECT and you were always too full for dessert! Restaurant staff were 5-star but clearly understaffed everyone truend up en mass.
Stunning pool, and gardens, lots of quality sunbeds with visors/book rests. Punctual shuttle bus to the hotel's private beach or the nearest town with its popular public beach, stopping at the local supermarket en route, if... more
