We stayed with Cinzia at her lovely B&B for five nights. Our bedroom was spacious and clean with a wonderful bed. Cinzia is very warm and works very hard to please her guests. All the morning baked goods are made from scratch by her along with the homemade jams. Her assistance with activities and recommendations for local restaurants were very... More

This is a good day for us - It's the day we get to write our review of Chiusa dei Monaci...or as we've grown fond of saying, the "Chiusa dei Cinzia!" There is no doubt it is her personality that is stamped on this ancient mill, and that's a wonderful thing for us and all travelers who are lucky enough... More

Last weekend we stayed at La Chiusa dei Monaci for the second time. Our stay was just as wonderful as the first. We felt like we were visiting family we hadn't seen in a long while. Cinzia came out to greet us with her captivating smile, hugs, and kisses. We were placed in a different room this time, but it... More

Our first visit to this B&B and we hope to return later in the year. Cinzia is a fantastic host and is full of wonderful ideas of places to visit including things to see and do. I cannot speak highly enough of how good this B&B is and I hope that my words can do justice to what I consider... More

Our family cannot speak highly enough of our experience at this wonderful bed and breakfast. Cinzia and Giorgio are the most amazing hosts. We had a family crisis and they were generous, kind, supremely helpful and very, very special. Rooms were great, beds wonderful, breakfasts out of this world and restaurant/itinerary tips superb. The generosity and warmth of this family... More

We really should have written this review a lot sooner. What can we say, we absolutely loved our stay with our new Italian family, our wonderful host Cinzia and her little dogs Atti and Leo, which my 2yo daughter made lifelong friends with (she still says Atti when she sees a dog). The house itself is a refurbished classic house,... More

This house was perfect for a novelist like me. Newly renovated, our room was clean and warm, while through the window, the noise of the rushing river lulled us to sleep. Outside, we were surrounded by history—the garden and the locks built under the House of Medici in the 15th century. Cinzia was great. She answered every question about itinerary... More

We had planned a week's trip to Tuscany region of Italy, and had the pleasure of staying with Cinzia for the entire stay. I say "Cinzia" because you will forget the name of the B&B, because you will feel like like you are staying with your favorite family. The property is very nice, but the best part of this B&B... We spent 3 nights in Cinzia´s BB during our 16 days trip to Tuscany. The house is very nice and the rooms are nicely decorated. Cinzia was the warmest host we met in Tuscany and we will never forget her breakfast. She was baking several cakes (sweet and salted) every day just for us. Not talking about great cheese, jams,...
