I traveled to Italy with a large university group from the US - most of us spoke Italian very spottily, Italian 101 style. Yet the staff of this lovely hotel was exceptionally helpful, patient and accommodating. The rooms were spotless, spacious and quiet. The breakfasts surpassed buffet style breakfasts in the US (3-4-star extended stay hotel chains). The coffee and... More

We stayed here with Riviera Travel last month. The room was very comfortable and clean. We were disappointed that the meals were set but the quality of the food was good. The breakfast was a great start to a busy day with a wide variety to choose from.

We stayed here as part of a party from Riviera Travel so any comments about food are coloured by the fact that we had separate breakfast room and separate dinner menus to the other guests. Our room was large and well equipped with a fridge, large wardrobe, safe and en suite with decent towels. There was air con but we... More

We stayed on the Riviera Classical Italy tour and were very pleasantly surprised, after reading some of the previous comments. The room was large, spotless with new bathroom, and not at all noisy. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and dinner was delicious - though with the Riviera tour there was no choice. Good in room wifi, which was... More

We were travelling independently, not as part of Riviera. We found the Hotel extremely comfortable. Our room was very spacious, overlooking the main street but quiet thanks to the double glazed windows. We stayed here for the last two nights of our holiday, using it as a base to explore the nearby hill towns. The staff were helpful and friendly... More

We stayed for 4 nights as part of Riveria Travel group. The hotel is very comfortable, rooms are clean and quite spacious and the bathroom was very good. The breakfast is typical continental, with no hot offerings and quite bland. Dinner for the tour group was a set menu whch was nicely cooked, but a choice would have been better.... More

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of the Riviera Clssical Italy tour. The hotel was centrally located for all the places to visit so was perfect in that respect. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the set menu three course meal, the quality was good and the waiters very friendly and helpful. The cost of wine,... More

We stayed here as part of a package from riviera travel .Our main criticism was the absence of any choice in the evening meal. Just pasta of sorts as the first course then followed by the main course which was little more than adequate. For breakfast there was no cooked selection which was very unusual in a hotel of this category... We were touring Tuscany and the Arezzo tourist information suggested this, among other hotels, as likely to suit us. We arrived in the middle of the day, and looked at the room. All seemed fine so we booked in and drove off sightseeing. When we came back there was plenty of parking and a porter to help with our luggage.... More

Stayed at the hotel for four nights as part of the Riviera Classical Italy tour. Our room at the front of the hotel was comfortable although a little dull owing to the narrow window. It was quiet and we slept well and it was very clean. The hotel provides a good base from which to travel around the Tuscan countryside.... More
