Quiet area. Great personnel. Nice rooms. Wine tasting exceptional. Estate-produced Rose' and Chianti excellent. Limited menu choices in the restaurant for lunch and dinner. Breakfast buffet and made-to-order selections are all good. No hesitation in recommending this property for a 2 or 3 day respite from touring Italy.

The location is unbeatable, the wine tasting well worth it as the host was interesting and the wine and oil are both great. However once that was over we were left standing in the courtyard for about 45 minutes while we waited for the restaurant to open. It was 40 degrees outside, we could see the restaurant staff inside, but... More

My husband and I spend one day in Villa Cilnia, in our honeymoon. We did this reservation because we wanted to relax and try the wines in their Cantina. When we arrived, the receptionist told us that the degustation for that day (saturday) was ended but in the other day, sunday morning, we could do the degustation. But in the... More

The hotel is beautifully situated, but be aware if you are not a strong walker as getting round on the grounds is involving quite steep slopes and lots of steps. The restaurant has had an addition 'outside' and while this adds to the usage of the restaurant for the hotel, it is an absolute eyesore and making it impossible to... More

On turning into the driveway it's reminiscent of the film Gladiator when you see Russels Crowe's character's home. Long drive with those thin tall firs. Its breathtaking. The rooms are well sorted, clean and unusually for Italy the air conditioning works reasonably well. We were originally booked here by a customer, but now I insist and book myself here and... More

This is the place I've been dreaming of to stay in tuscany,, and my dream came true! It's situated in a huge vineyard with olive trees in the back,,,you see all the greeneries in front of you while seating in the terrace , that's where we had our wines and dinners, really enjoyable and relaxed with fresh air and beautiful... Beautiful location and surroundings, roses and vineyards. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom clean with a wonderful shower. We brought our child along as we were in the country for 14 days. The resident cats were fun to watch and pet. This Villa felt very safe and secure. The decor was tasteful and modern. The pool was... My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon for 6 nights in May / June.
