After scouring the web for the perfect Tuscan retreat, our group of 9 unanimously selected Podere di Pomaio. I had several email exchanges with the Villa Keeper who provided suggestions and ideas for our stay. To say he was extremely helpful would be a understatement! My group flew into Florence, rented cars and drove through the beautiful Tuscan countryside to... More

The perfect place to experience Tuscany. A beautiful villa in the middle of a green vineyard, on top of a hill overlooking Arezzo. 5 separate bedrooms with each having its own bathroom, and its own unique charm. Great dining area opening to the garden and to the view down the vineyard, fully equipped kitchen, many seating areas in garden and... More

Our family visited here in August 2015. It was certainly one of the highlights of our trip. This place was recommended to us by the gentleman who owned our villa, who said he felt it was the best wine around. We had a tour of the vinyard and award winning cave and then had a wine tasting with lovely food.... More

Pomaio was the highlight of my trip in Italy. We tasted wine, ate, and toured the grounds. Absolutely loved it and could not have learned more and been treated any better. The wine was amazing and food was great as well.

What a wonderful location on the hillside overlooking Arezzo! We came across Pomaio through the recommendation of Very Tuscany Tours, with whom we had been emailing about our upcoming trip to Tuscany. They connected us to Marco at Pomaio, and what a treat! We were sadly only staying for one night, but we were lucky to be traveling in the... More

This was the last place we stayed on an extensive tour of Italy with friends. I was in charge of booking lodgings so when we approached this place I was holding my breath that it was as represented....It wasn't.......It was beyond anything that they have pictured or described!! The house was situated in an organic vineyard with a stunning view... More

We visited Antico Podere di Pomaio with four other couples who we have vacationed with every other year since 2003. This, by far, was our favorite. The villa was clean, spacious and quite comfortable. Even so, we spent most of our time outside around the large table under the portico or by the beautiful pool. The sunsets were breathtaking. The... More

A group of friends along with my husband and I rented this villa for the last week of April, 2012. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The villa itself is amazing. Though a section was restored from a WWII bombing, it is 800 years old and is constructed of stone and wood. It sits among the hills overlooking the... More

Really special spot. Excellent location for day trips throughout Tuscany. On a hill overlooking Arezzo. Modernized farm house; 5 bedrooms w/wonderful gathering areas, inside and out. Quaint family winery....wine making & tasting tour available. We had five couples and it was perfect. GPS highly recommended.....follow Jacapo's directions....up the hill.
