Ideal location for the Antiques Fair and some good restaurants nearby but this was the only place in Italy where we had misunderstandings about breakfast, which was (we discovered after eating it) not included and very overpriced. Room was just OK, atmosphere was also just OK. Would not recommend. more
I booked a single room in this hotel on a business weekend. I visited the hotel website and chose to stay here because of the rooms presentation and the central location. But I was wrong. Apart central location, close both to the railway station and the old town, the hotel was really disappointing. The room was small with second-third hand... more
We spent a night at the Continentale in October 2007 solely because of its proximity to the railway station and Avis car rental office. We booked a standard room, and we guess that is what we got. It was clean, relatively comfortable and well-equipped, but the decor was dated and the bathroom door was hanging off its hinges. When booking we... more
I stayed here for 4 nights while visiting for a conference at the Centro Affari. In comparison to my previous experience with italian hotels, I would say that it is definitely above average. The location is great, within walking distance to the major sights of the old city and very close to the train station. The staff are very friendly... more
Excellent central location for old town. have them park your car for a small fee, it's great. excellent breakfast w/good nightly rate. booked room direct. our room a little tight, but nicely furnished. make sure you go to the roof garden and bring a drink, great views of the old city. would stay here again. our reason for visiting Arezzo... more
I stayed in April at Hotel Continentale to visit Piero della Francesca and the Italian Courts. Excellent location. The staff was very kindful and helpful. The room was very clean. Buffet breakfast with pecorino cheese, salami, cooked ham; eggs and bacon on request. Try to have a drink on the roof garden at the 6° floor; wonderful view on the... more
I was in this hotel in March and I loved it. The position is perfect for shopping and visiting the city, and the staff was always very kind and gentle. And the price is good too, actually. I was able to reach the "Piero della Francesca" exhibition in a couple of minutes. I'll definitely stay here again should I visit... more
My family and I stayed in the Hotel Continentale in late May, 2006, and we couldn't fault the place. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms very comfortable. The hotel is located in the historical part of the city and restaurants, bars, and other shops are in the very close proximity. The internet access in the lounge... more
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Continentale for one night in March when we were on a weekend trip round Tuscany. We hadn't booked anywhere to stay in advance and managed to get a room here at around 8 pm. We paid about 80 euros for a double without breakfast. The Continentale is in a great location, not far... more
