My husband and 2 teenage boys just finished a few wonderful days at this lovely agriturismo. At the last minute on our way down from Paris to Naples we decided to make a stop off near Arrezzo for a few days. We were very lucky to find such a lovely place to stay not far from all the major sites... More

We took our three kids here for one night on our way to Florence. The family are charming and the accommodation was spacious and very rustic. Very Tuscan....beautiful scenery and light, quiet location ... with the owners animals roaming about, delightful. The beds were comfy, the plumbing worked and we had all the amenities we needed. Our stay at Il Pero exceeded our expectations. From the family welcome to the beautiful county side. The accommodation and service were excellent. However it was the hospitality shown by William, Miranda and their two girls that made our stay exceptional. When in Umbria we would recommend staying at Il Pero to our friends and family. William has done an amazing job at restoring this once derelict property. We stayed for four very pleasant days in L'alba with a double bedroom and bathroom upstairs and combined lounge/dining/kitchen downstairs. Miranda was very helpful... More

A group of us gathered at Il Pero for a gathering to celebrate our friend's new book. The setting was beautiful with easy access to . Two chickens greeted us in the mornings as we sipped coffee under the arbor. Then off for day trips to many well known hilltop villiages. Five of us stayed in the house with up... More

My wife and I stayed at Il Pero and discovered a hidden gem! It's a beautiful medieval farmhouse that has been lovingly restored by the Taxis family. William and Miranda and their daughters are excellent hosts and extremely kind and helpful. We stayed in La Torre at the top of the farmhouse and the views across the valley were stunning.... More
