I have rewritten my review because the manager was really unhappy and angry and accused me of having anxiety issues. I agree that some of my statements needed to be clarified and that one r two issues were not the hotels fault. We arrived at the hotel at 9pm having had nothing to eat all day and also having been... Gallorini, Proprietario at BEST WESTERN Galileo Palace Hotel, responded to this review

Dear Madame, responding to your last revised comment: - It isn’t our fault if you wanted to stay in Florence and you booked in Arezzo - No dinner has been booked by your agency; anyway you could have moved in a restaurant nearby with your own private transportation if you wanted something to eat - The hotel does not close,... We had a nightmare stay at the AC Arezzo, and when we returned to Arezzo a few days later we decided to give the Galileo Palace a try. The setting is rather unpreposessing, and the locations in 'Google Maps' seem to have this hotel located somewhere else. The rooms are a little gloomy, and the carpets and floors in the... More

We stayed her for one night, because we were double booked in Casa Portagioia and could not stay there. That might be the reason we were not that impressed with this hotel, we were not in a good state of mind. The hotel was ok, nothing special. You have to have a car to stay here, as it is not... Very convenient if you are exploring Umbria and Tuscany. The hotel has good parking and it is easy to be found if you are using a GPS. Front desk staff is very helpful. It is a short drive to a few dinner options. The restaurant beside the hotel was closed when we went there. The room is fine, but there... More

This is a neat hotel in a great location for touring the Tuscany/Umbria Regions of Italy. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The hotel is very clean and the continental breakfast is delightful. Great value for the money.

There's a prior review here that calls this hotel "horrible", and we ignored it. But they were right about a couple of things; there's no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby, and it's way way away from anything. Other than that, the deluxe room is very attractive but somewhat small and the minibar has a couple of waters... More

..to visit the Tuscanian landscape like Siena. Rooms very clean, confortable, cosy, and silent. Confortable end spacious (free) car parking. Inserted into a little commercial centre. Great to visit Castiglion Fiorentino. Don't miss "DA MUZZICONE" Restaurant in Castiglion Fiorentino where to taste the REAL tuscanian cooking.

The location of the hotel (Rigutino), when you are traveling by car, is excellent. Parking in front of the hotel was free. Staff was very welcoming, speaking English. Room was spacious, with mini bar and kettler. Bathroom renovated, but need better ventilation. The only thing we were missing was wi-fi (hotel offers only cable internet). Breakfast was good, a bit... More

I traveled solo to Arezzo for business and was offered this hotel for my stay. The front desk personel was very friendly (Sara, Domenico and Antonia) and always smiling. The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and the TV had a large amount of channels. The bathroom was big and clean as well considering most hotels in... More
