Hotel was beyond our expectations. The room was well laid out, spotless and the firefly display outside spectacular (having not seen them before). The people (staff or family I'm not sure) were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was perfect. We also enjoyed the pool and made use of the bikes to ride into town which I'd recommend doing -... More

We spent one night at Hotel Langhe because it was a good midway point to meet our friends from France. The hosts were wonderful and welcomed us with a lovely beverage and chance to unwind in the garden before heading to our room. The owner spoke fluently to us in English and our friends in French--impressive! The kids all loved... More

Langhe breaks away from the usual hotel chains in its own charming way. This is not a hotel that is about traditional luxury, but rather the luxury you get from a warm staff. The owner is very unique and seems happy to help in any way possible; one night he even acted as taxi driver, giving us a lift in... More

we stayed in hotel langhe for 3 nights. the hotel is located in a nice area, 5 minutes bay car from the town. the rooms are ok. shower door could not be closed and toilet did not work properly for 2 days. they were not able to fixe it unfortunaltely. also the hospitality was at minimum. therefore we think 4... For people who come to Piedmont to enjoy nice scenery, this hotel probably isn't for you. Its location is pretty central to the town of Alba (which is a perk for some) but surrounded by apartments, and a garage, there are definitely more charming locations. The room was spacious and comfortable, as were the beds. The pool area is small... More

First of all, I really enjoy this hotel. It's artistic, surprising and sweet. When it comes to the detsils it lacks a few things. They charge a decent fee, wich I am happy to pay, but then I also expect the little extras. Breakfast is ok, but not special at all. Superior rooms? Not very superior. No terrace, no nice... More

A refreshing change from the monotony of chain hotels. A charming and quirky hotel, with a real emphasis on friendly service. The location is not ideal, being a little too far to walk into the town, but there are bikes available, and it is only a short car journey, and we had no problems parking in town. Our room was... I stayed at Hotel Langhe at the recommendation of a friend from Milano for four days and three nights (21-25 May). I was there to see the Giro d'Italia Stage 12 rendering taxis nonexistent at the rail station, which is located 2.1 km from the hotel. The situation was remedied with a ring to the hotel, where the extremely hospitable... More

This hotel is the realization of it's affable owner's genius, whimsy, workmanship, and imagination. Every turn reveals some thing surprising and artistic. It is truly unique and wonderful. The owner was always present, either planting flowers, working the desk, helping serve breakfast. He took some time to speak with us and he obviously possesses amazing warmth and a strong sense...
