Villa la Favorita was the second stop on our honeymoon this past November. I was recommended to VLF by a good friend and then read several reviews online - none of them do Villa La Favorita justice! The accommodations, public areas, sleeping rooms, service and most importantly breakfast were the best we encountered in Italy! We spent 4 glorious days... More

What do you say about a lady who gives her own hair appointment time to your wife and then drives her down to the hairdressers in her own car? Roberta is one of a kind - an exceptional hostess. We stayed here for 3 nights in September in the Gialla (yellow) room which, whilst being one of the smaller rooms,... More

Very peaceful retreat to get away from it all. Roberta was very welcoming and very knowlegable about things to do in the area. We had a lovely cosy room and a beautiful breakfast served to us every morning. Our thanks to Roberta and her brillant staff. We will be back. More

Our stay at Villa La Favorita will be a treasured memory -- until we may be fortunate enough to return. Roberta speaks excellent English, and the Villa is her home. She, her lovely daughters and her able staff do their utmost to assure a pleasant and comfortable stay in Piemonte. We felt as though we were staying with friends! She... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in August. Roberta is the most amazing hostess even assisting us in fixing my husband's broken luggage. She goes above and beyond to find restaurants and help you with planning your days. Alba is a lovely town and this is the best place to stay. More

A truly Italian and personal BB that exceeded all expectations. This place is for people who want to enjoy the extra in life. Perfect for couples who wish to live well, eat magnificent breakfasts and learn more about Piemonte, the culture, history, nature, wine and of course- food. More

We stayed at Villa la Favorita in early July 2011 and found it the perfect launch for our three weeks in Italy. Roberta and her team were fantastic, the breakfasts were delicious, and the quiet environment was exactly what we needed to refuel after our long flight. The Alba area was amazingly tranquil and the perfect place to "experience" Italy... More

We stayed 8 nights and explored the hill towns of the Langhe region surrounding Alba. The owner, Roberta, and her staff, Giovanna and Teresa, do an outstanding job to make this B&B perfect. Every morning the breakfasts they present are so tasteful, bountiful and varied. We stayed in the red (rossa) room, on the courtyard side, very comfortable. Most of... More

I regret that we could only stay here for 2 nights! The afternoon of our arrival, the proprietor offered us wine and snacks and sat down with us to tell us about her region and all there is to do and see around there. Her villa is very open to guests with many areas to relax both inside and out.... More

A lovely place with Roberta and her team as wonderful hosts, serving incredible breakfasts and delivering advices and hospitality. The house itself is just amazing, every object seems to have its own history. Too bad that this jewel gets so much impacted by the noise of the road traffic. More
