I've been stayed at Calissano for 4 days, on a business trip close. Very nice location, centrally located, close to everything. Very nice breakfast, and even the restaurant is very good with typical dishes from the italian - piedmont cuisine!

Beautiful spacious rooms with huge comfortable beds, luxurious bathrooms with a full set of toiletries and slippers. The rooms were also so quiet with fully controllable aircon/heating. The staff are so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and well presented. The evening menu looked limited in choice but the food was... More

We stayed at the Calissano for two nights during the white truffle festival. First, what a pleasant surprise Alba is! This seems to be where Italians go for a quick getaway to shop, eat and enjoy the country. The hotel is in a great location just a very short walk (400-500 yards) from the entrance to the old city. Parking... More

I organised a wine trip with 25 Scots to Alba and the Piemonte wine region. I chose the Calissano as it was the only hotel in the area that could accommodate our number at that time. I usually go for intimate, traditional hotels, so I was a bit worried about the size and possible impersonal treatment you often get from... More

Just spent 5 nights at this hotel with a group of photographers for a workshop. The level of cleanliness and spaciousness of the room was exceptional. Breakfast was a huge buffet of "do it yourself" and the selection was vast. The short walk to the dowtown area is very manageable and the main avenue is filled with restaurants that have... More

We stayed 3 nights and found the staff excellent, the position is 10 minutes walk from the main squares. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped. Breakfast is a great spread. Staff really helpful. Parking secure. Would return for sure.

This is our third time at this fine Hotel but this time we had a wonderful surprise. We had dinner for the first time and the dinner was exceptional the pasta pomadora was served with fresh grape tomatoes, the pasta had a wonderful flavor. My lamb chops were cooked to perfection as was my husbands sirloin steak. After five years... More

Came here as part of a group of about 20 people, rooms on the 6th floor were classed as a superior and met/exceeded our expectations. Evening meal and breakfast were all to a high standard. Only a very short walk into the old part of town which has many lovely bars and restaurants. Really a very nice hotel from which... More

Dear Guest, There is a specific reason why we did not make a swimming pool. We have two types of guests: a business one, which would not have the time to use it; and a eno-gastronomic tourism one, which - as you told - would have not time... too. We have a little gym, and the neighborhoods of Hotel Calissano... More

In Alba for friends wedding but this was a lovely hotel! Clean, modern fresh & very close to the main piazza & shops. Room & bed were very comfortable, as too was the shower. Good morning, we are very proud of our gluten-free proposals: it's very important that everyone can feel comfortable here... though he is far from home! We have a gym actually: it's quite little, but very well prepared with top level equipment; about the iron, we cannot lend it to the rooms because of the very strict Italian laws in matter... More
