Due to airplane delays, we did not arrive until 11:00PM but someone was available and helpful to open the locked gate. The rooms and grounds are very attractive and the breakfast was excellent. The owners gave us advice on local eating establishments.

Since 2003 this is the place we return too, every time we visit the area. Andrea and his family are more like family friends and the B&B consistently good. A truly relaxing place to stay; charming villa and rooms, swimming pool, breakfast served on the terrace (freshly squeezed juice, good Italian coffee, porched egg, selection of bread and cakes with... I can't say enough good things about Villa La Meridiana. We could not believe the modest price for such an awesome view over the hillside. We selected a double room upstairs, which was more spacious than the typical European hotel room. It even had a fireplace, which we didn't use because of the season. It is only a 5-minute drive... This was my 4th time to spend a week. On the hill overlooking Alba. I have never been disappointed. Only about 9 rooms. Fantastic homestyle made to order breakfasts included in room rates. Family operated. Centrally located between Barbaresco and Barolo for winery visits. The International Truffle Festival is in nearby Alba every October-November. I will go back.

I have been visiting this B&B for over 10 years. Andrea Giacosa and his family run a fantastic operation. The hotel is situated on a hillside overlooking Alba on the road to Neive and Barbaresco. The rooms are spacious and always clean. Breakfast is a treat with homemade jams, fresh fruit, breads and the best soft boiled egg I have... More

We loved staying at this charming place. Genuine and friendly service. Nice, well-kept area. Great view of Alba and surrounding area. Lovely breakfast with so much good cheese. The room was very nice and felt cozy, with a big terrace. Only downfall is the road to the city. Walking along side the road at night with a baby in the... More

Our group of 13 stayed at Villa La Meridiana for 5 nights, and had a lovely stay. Our room: my hubby and I were allocated a room upstairs in the main house (above the kitchen and dining area). We had a private balcony, and it was nice to sit there and read in the late afternoon. The room and bathroom... More

Rooms are fairly basic, as reflected in the modest room rate. However, the breakfast is outstanding - the host Andrea is an excellent cook and very accommodating. He went out of his way to make it a special experience. The grounds are lovely and scenic. A 15 minute walk into town, it would be best experienced with a car.
