I recently stayed at the Hotel Tirreno in Rome. After spending several days in Italy prior to my arrival, I was really dissappointed with the overall condition of the rooms. My husband and I stayed at the Tirreno a few years ago in high season. Rooms are very basic but clean. I stayed at the Tirreno with my husband and 2 young children (9 and 7). The location was excellent, right on the beach, only a single lane quiet road to cross, which was ideal for the children. Tirenno Hotel located on beach. superior location. problem is standard of hotel is very poor outdated and in need of complete overhall and modernisation.
