Excellent B&B. Very friendly family run. Breakfast with home made bread on the terrace. Beautiful outdoor areas with swing seats and plenty of bowers in the shade. In sight of Valley of the temples. Only suggestion is to include in instructions that you need to turn right immediately after the short paved area ends as there are no hotel signs... More

We stayed at B&b Villa San Marco, the 11-15 July 2015, and had a beautiful time at this fantastic place with the two dogs, the birds and the sweet family in 3 generations, who welcomed us at their home - A nice swimming pool with great view over olives- and almond trees, to the temple ruins, surrounded by flowers and... This place is very charming and romantic with amazing view of temples, sea and olive trees and city above in the hill. The family is very friendly and provides an excellent welcome and helpful tips about where you are headed next. The grounds are lovely with beautiful peacocks roaming around. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. The... More

We enjoyed our stay at B&B San Marco- which is situated in the middle of the valley of temples and around 10 minutes drive to the centre of Agrigento. Having read earlier reviews we were prepared for the dirt road and the way too early peacocks, but the garden is lovely and the pool is great to soak in after... More

Yes, the outdoor of the B&B is amazing. I mean, it's like Eden with all the trees, flowers, animals, ... And the view is really good. From there you can see 3 temples. But the room was not really good. It was old, the bed was wayyyy to hard and the bathroom need also some improvement. The breakfast was okish.... More

Where else can you swim on a beautiful terrace and look out at one of the best preserved Greek temples in the world? The 200 year old villa is full of character. The terrace has plants, pots and water features, benches, swing seats, chairs and tables, everywhere. There are interesting tiles on the wall, ducks in pond, chickens in a... More

Don't be put off by the dirt track past the petrol station. This is a wonderful place to stay with stunning views of the Temples. Be prepared to be woken by the peacocks. The room and service were both first class. Breakfast was delightful. When my wife was unwell we were found another room for an extra night and I... More

One of the most pleasant B&Bs we have ever stayed in. It is a bit out of town, but that puts it straight in the centre of the valley of temples within easy walk of both archeology museum and the site itself. (And particularly easy walk from otherwise well hidden Temple of Vulcan that is not a part of the... More

We stayed here for two nights. Nice peaceful location with dogs, ducks and peacocks. Is about 5 minutes from town centre once you have navigated the rutted dirt single track road. If you follow three directions, you'll get there. Room fine, breakfast on the paltry side but you're not paying Ritz prices. Absolutely fine as a base.

The Villa San Marco is a lovely oasis of calm in the heart of the Valley of the Temples. Both nights I was there I watched the sunset over the temples from their beautiful garden. The friendly, helpful owners made me feel like I was part of the family. The room was simple but comfortable and had everything you need.... More
