Great place to stay in this beautifull domain. Has been decorated internally and externally with a lot of taste. Great renovated rooms with authentic spirit. People are very friendly and always at your service. Hostess prepares delicious sicilian dishes, host very open and friendly. Very little remark : beds at the swiming pool are hard. Stay that we enjoyed very... More

Our first uneasy reaction to Mandranova never really left us. It is an international boutique hotel too close to a busy road and surrounded by poly-tunnelled countryside and high security fencing. The service and food were good to excellent, though we felt the padrone's solicitousness was only skin-deep and the staff not very happy. The nearest town is Palma di... More

We keep coming back to this lovely villa in the olive trees. It has two air conditioned bedrooms at the back of the house, a simple kitchen and lounge area, a bedroom above the kitchen and a lovely terrace and its own black infinity pool. Silvia really looks after you and is very welcoming. Our kids love to do the... More

What a great place, one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. There is true artistry in the grounds, the decor and the olive oil itself. The proprietors are a handsome, sophisticated, warm and interesting couple with a great story to tell. We loved the aesthetiic throughout. Our own room was spacious and zen, with groovy cement floors and... More

The Mandranova is a very lovely property. The B&B is nestled among 10,000 olive trees that represent the primary business. We stayed there 2 nights - had dinner there the first night - and everything was as nice as could be. Our room was large, quiet and had all needed amenities. There was lots of hot water when we were... More

We stayed three nights and had a very nice time. Pros: 1) The staff is impeccable and extremely helpful. 2) The grounds are beautiful (be prepared for desert though so if not your style then don't stay in this area). 3) You can literally ask them for anything. Easy to get drinks, did our laundry (for a charge). Overall made... More

Starting with the positive side: 1. Silvia the owner is very caring. She cooked special food for our daughter without extra charge during the dinner. 2. The dinner Silvia prepared was tasty and felt like eating at home (but don’t expecting high-end Restaurant level). Negative side: 1. WiFi only available during the breakfast time. And most of the time didn't... More

We have just stayed at Mandranova for three nights as part of a tour of Sicily. The biggest difficulty is finding the entrance. We drove past it at least 4 times before finally getting off the main road at the right point to access the slip road to the entrance. Even then, it wasn't signposted so we drove past it... More

The mandranova is a really special place. It's an old train station building converted in a nice minimalistic hotel. The rooms are very spacious, dark brown floor, and walls (bathroom), nice shower, nice bed and the room is functional. There's no wifi in the room and only in the main building you can have wifi in the morning. That's a... More

We spent two nights here ...and frankly wish we'd stayed a bit longer ! Super place , great welcome from the staff and the owners ..Giuseppe and Sylvia. Our Room was adequate enough for two nights, perhaps a little dark with a sloping roof.. But it was fine. If anything needed attention it was probably the beds ..which were quite... More
