The Mandranova is a very lovely property. The B&B is nestled among 10,000 olive trees that represent the primary business. We stayed there 2 nights - had dinner there the first night - and everything was as nice as could be. Our room was large, quiet and had all needed amenities. There was lots of hot water when we were... More

We stayed three nights and had a very nice time. Pros: 1) The staff is impeccable and extremely helpful. 2) The grounds are beautiful (be prepared for desert though so if not your style then don't stay in this area). 3) You can literally ask them for anything. Easy to get drinks, did our laundry (for a charge). Overall made... More

Starting with the positive side: 1. Silvia the owner is very caring. She cooked special food for our daughter without extra charge during the dinner. 2. The dinner Silvia prepared was tasty and felt like eating at home (but don’t expecting high-end Restaurant level). Negative side: 1. WiFi only available during the breakfast time. And most of the time didn't... More

We have just stayed at Mandranova for three nights as part of a tour of Sicily. The biggest difficulty is finding the entrance. We drove past it at least 4 times before finally getting off the main road at the right point to access the slip road to the entrance. Even then, it wasn't signposted so we drove past it... More

The mandranova is a really special place. It's an old train station building converted in a nice minimalistic hotel. The rooms are very spacious, dark brown floor, and walls (bathroom), nice shower, nice bed and the room is functional. There's no wifi in the room and only in the main building you can have wifi in the morning. That's a... More

We spent two nights here ...and frankly wish we'd stayed a bit longer ! Super place , great welcome from the staff and the owners ..Giuseppe and Sylvia. Our Room was adequate enough for two nights, perhaps a little dark with a sloping roof.. But it was fine. If anything needed attention it was probably the beds ..which were quite... More

Recently had a 5 night stay at Mandranova and was not overly impressed. It does have some nice features: lovely pool, pleasant dinner and the other guests were absolutely charming - but the hosts let us down somewhat. I'm a little bit surprised by some of the reviews as we found the owners rather cold, abrupt and disingenuous. Our room... More

We spent an all two short 2 night stay with Sylvia in the middle of an east - west tour of the whole of the southern coast of Sicily. In hindsight whilst two nights were perfect for the attractions we wanted to cover in the Agrigento area, we were very sad to leave Mandranova after just a fleeting visit. The... More

A beautiful and elegant development designed with calmness and an eye for spaces, and views. We loved our stay here (4 nights) with our 9 year old son. We did not stay in the main building but had a very large and beautiful modern, bedroom/ bathroom in the building by the internal gates. Silvia and Guiseppe are extremely welcoming and... More

My wife and I, along with our 1 year old son have just spent 5 very memorable nights in the hospitality of Silvia and Giuseppe. The setting, quality of the rooms and above all the food and wine could not be faulted. We met some fantastic people passing through and have taken away a real insight into sicilian cuisine, hospitality... More
