Forget for a moment the location (at the top of the city next to the cathedral) and the sightly mad Italians who insist on clogging up medieval street plans with cars. The couple that host this establishement are the sweetest you could imagine. Alphonso loves his city with a passion which he wants to share with the world, Full of... More

We spent 2 nights which were enough to see the amazing Scala dei Turchi beach (in the afternoon is the best time due to the light) and the Valle Dei Templi. Agrigento itself was not my favourite place in Sicily, but we still managed to have a couple of nice meals there, however the town is falling apart. The B&B... More

I stayed at B&B Liola in Agrigento with my boyfriend for 3 nights as part of a tour of Sicily. The service at this B&B is absolutely top notch and I simply can’t fault it at all. The owners Alfonso and Panuccia are so lovely, kind and generous. They have thought of every single little detail to make your stay... More

Agrigento is mainly visited as day trip for its temples, yet its a great place for a night or two. While we struggled to communciate in English, the owners were incredibly friendly, and the B&B had everything one needed - decent rooms, excellent breakfast, free snacks and aperitifs and well located for wandering around the town.

What a gem. Right opposite the Duomo and the most wonderful, warm and friendly hosts we have every encountered. Alphonso and Pinnucia (apologies if spelling is wrong) could not do enough for us. The breakfast is amazing - and also provides lunch as you take away what you don't eat. Lovely comfortable and clean room (Tuzza) with a single and... More

From the moment we arrived until we left, Alfonso and Panuccia were perfect hosts. On arrival, Alfonso explained the facilities showed us the room and breakfast room and emphasised that we should feel at home and treat his house as ours. The room was nicely furnished and decorated and spotlessly clean. Excellent bed and linen. There was wine there for... More

4/5 - alfonso & pina (& fredrica) were very welcoming and helpful, great breakfast (more than ample), on top of hill so everywhere else in town is downhill (but no steps to rooms), liked complimentary almond liquer in rooms

This is the best B&B we have ever stayed in especially for the price! Alfonso & Pinuccia were exceptionally friendly welcoming hosts providing complimentary wine, water , fruit coffee, tea....they have thought of everything and their attention to detail is amazing. Breakfast was wonderful - lots of sweet & savory food all tastefully presented in the charming breakfast room.

I learned how to be a better hostess in my own home thanks to Alfonso and Pinucchia. Seriously, from the monogrammed sheets to the breakfast that seemed like Thanksgiving,to the cold welcome wine and the pistachio cream going away gift-there is not one item that goes without their attention. This is an excellent location to visit the Valley of the... More
