Location, location, location. The view from the terrace of the Temple of Concord while having a glass of wine in the twilight is breathtaking. This hotel is really all about the view. You simply must get a room that opens on the terrace that overlooks the Greek temple. The rooms are fine, if a bit worn. I too feel like everyone else- even the big room with the very beautiful view was not worth feeling like I was sleeping in a rat hotel.
