The Web site for this hotel is masterfully deceiving. The rooms are small and shabby. And the hotel restaurant boasted as being "The Best in Sicily " was adequate at best. Our friends were without hot water for their entire stay. And the staff did absolutely nothing to correct this problem. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. more

Trading on past success is how we found this hotel. Once famed for it's restaurant, now the food is very mediocre and best avoided. The fish restaurants in nearby San Leone are a much better bet and at least value for money. The hotel itself has adequate rooms which need some general maintenance to bring it upto 4 star condition.... more

My sister & I just returned from gorgeous Sicily & were lucky enough to stay at this hotel & dine at the amazing restaurant!!! Whilst it may to some be a little difficult to find, this is a minor inconvenience. The welcome from the staff set a very positive tone and this was made even the more evident, when the lady in charge, went out of her way to ensure that my missing passport was sent to the hotel by courier from Palermo airport... more

Wish we had known about Trip Advisor reviews before we left for Italy. Everything said in the last few reviews was mirrored in our experience, i.e. couldn't find the place and when we did we wished we hadn't.
