Beautiful grounds and a lovely hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable, excellent WiFi and a great shower with plenty of hot water and pressure. Dinner was excellent and breakfast was very good. I would love to stay here again as it is a pastoral and historic hotel with plenty of peace and quiet.

the attention of staff, the excellent menu. was a wonderful stay on our 2nd anniversary. we did go off-season in November, so were not exposed to crowds at the hotel, or Valley of Temples. We couldn't have asked for any better service from the front desk, menu to Emil - our waiter. our stay here was mad most memorable by... More

Based on T/A reviews, we splurged to stay in one of the watch tower rooms. What a good decision it was. The building is truly historic and the owners have done a masterful job of keeping its character while at the same time having it come up to modern expectations of tourists. The room was very clean and well equipped.... More

I am sure the hotel is lovely in season, but by early November it seemed tired and a bit despondent (no Italian beer, nuts or crisps available for a pre-dinner drink; empty restaurant). One of the defining factors in choosing the hotel was that it promised wifi in all areas - but the room we were allocated had no such... More

Although the staff is very helpful and staying in the old farmhouse and a watch tower sounds very appealing, I was extremely disappointed with our one night stay there. Our room was really dated and had a horrible musty smell in it, the blanket reminded an army blanket, the bathroom was in desperate need of renovation... and the food in... More

Forasteria Baglio della Luna is a hotel in Agrigento that is built around a medieval coastal watchtower. Our room was in the tower, and it was really a suite. It included an attractive sitting room and a bedroom and bath in a balcony above. The sitting room had windows on two sides, which gave both good ventilation and pretty views.... More

Easy enough to find with a GPS, my wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights in a standard room with twin beds. Probably because of the room’s small size, there was no desk – but the table with the 2 chairs served as a reasonable alternative to put on my laptop. The bathroom was rather small. The... More

This hotel definitely gave us a beautiful view of the temples right from our bedroombalaconyy. The hotel is as others would say a beautiful, peaceful setting and very close to one of the gates to the ruins that you can drive to yourself without taking shuttle buses etc. The room was nice and spacious and clean. We did have dinner... More

This is an amazing place that feels more like a big villa rather than the hotel, most likely because of the big garden they have that overlooks Valley of Temples. The original construction is a few centuries old and watchtower dates as mid 14 century. The owner of the hotel gladly showed us the awesome view from the top of... More

Our home for two nights while we were in the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. Gorgeous 4-star property with lush gardens stretching down below the beautifully restored medieval buildings. We actually stayed in the 13th century watchtower - there are two suites there. We had one with two floors, the lower being a sitting area, looking out at the... More
