The Foresteria Baglio Della Luna is a charming boutique hotel overlooking the Valley Of The Temples and Agrigento. The hotel is basically an open courtyard built around a old stone watch tower, with delightful gardens cascading to the valley below. The hotel's location is near the Valley of the Temples, although it is a 5 to 10 minute drive to... More

We had the pleasure of having a 3 night stay at this historical hotel, during our recent visit to Sicily.Being aware of some of the negative comments on trip advisor we were rather apprehensive about the stay.We were therefore delighted to have had a very positive experience in every way..The staff in all the areas were very welcoming and helpful.... Our tour arrived in the early evening and no porter was to be had by anyone. Since there were no elevators, getting luggage up to the second floor, was difficult since we averaged about 70 years of age. The morning did have a porter. The office was unhelpful in resolving some communications issues with Fedex. Food was excellent although the... More

We had memories of a couple of very good evenings here a few years ago and decided to spend some time here. The property is very attractive and the gardens absolutely lovely - though there's only a rather random whirlpool spa parked in a corner, rather than a pool. We had a tower room, which was comfortable and well-enough equipped.... More

We were in Baglio della Luna for our honey moon and loved it. Staff was friendly, professional and descrete. Hotel has wonderful gardens with open air jacuzzi. Room is basic but does have jacuzzi and is very good for sleep over as it offers complete darkness when pulling down blinds and pleasant silence.

Everyone in Sicily is ver nice and helpful and the employees of the hotel were very helpful but the hotel needs love and care. We only spent one night but we were only interested in going to Valley of the Temples which is about 3 kilometers from the hotel Its kind of secluded also if you want to go out... More

We stayed in a room in the tower and the room was very comfortable? We had dinner in the restaurant and found it easy and good value. Breakfast was the best we have had in the week in so icily so far. The hotel is very close to the temples. Historic building nicely restored, friendly staff.

Buildings and gardens lovely. Our room was in the tower which required walking up a spiral staircase - OK with us. Very quiet. Bathroom featured a jacuzzi! It was all a little bit tired but also very pleasant. Breakfast was OK but service slow. We had one dinner. The hotel seems to make a virtue of slow eating. It was... More
