We spent two nights in La Casa di El and loved it! Alfonso, the boss, is as friendly as funny and introduced us to the other couple sharing the 1st floor with us, from Bologna. We had breakfast with them the two days at 8:45 (but you can choose at what time Alfonso will serve it) and shared great moments!... More

This brilliant B&B is located in a very unpromising 60's style concrete high rise, of the kind that has mushroomed up around the historic centre of Agrigento. Once inside, the place is a gem. Alfonso, the host, is extremely warm, helpful and welcoming. The view was stunning over the valley of the temples. The interior nice, the bed comfortable, the... More

As soon as we entered the b & b, Alfonso made us feel comfortable straight away by offering us an espresso and biscuits and sitting us in front of the breathtaking view of the temples and sea. He then told us about the area, places to visit, travel etc. We were then taken to our stunning room and were amazed... More

I am a senior adult experienced world traveler, picky but not overly so, who does much research before choosing a lodging and so am rarely disappointed. LOCATION: in quiet, safe street in old town not too far from bus station, and buses to temple ruins & museum, and across from great restaurant BUILDING: modern high-rise apartment block TYPE:rooms in two... “We loved the place. Alfonso, the owner is so helpful and friendly. He suggested some very good restaurants.(One in particular, where we had the best meal of the holiday) Can highly recommend B&B La Casa Di El.” We had a nice room on the 11th floor with a little balcony overlooking the old town. We even had our own separate... More

In all my life tourist (which includes Southwest Asian, Africa and South America) this was the worst experience I ever had. We, me my wife and my 10 months baby, arrive at the property by 8pm. Alfonso presented himself and the first thing he said was "why are you arriving so late?" From that moment on and for 10 min,... More

In a ca 20 floormanager high building against the historical centre. Rooms without view to the sea and the valley of the Temple. Parking the car is possible but tricky. Alfonso is a very good guest who gave us a quick guided walk nearby wit lots of helpfull information concerning what to visit and where to shop or eat. The... More

This is really a great B&B. It is not in a building you expect (a modern flat), but inside it is luxury. Moreover, the view to the temple valley and the sea is fantastic. Alfonzo is indeed a great host. The breakfast he serves at the room is unbelievable (you can eat whole day from it), and he is a... More

We received a very warm welcome, including much needed tea and biscuits, from the charming owner, Alfonso, before being shown to our beautifully decorated, light and airy 11th floor room. To our surprise, there was also a private breakfast room. From there we had a fantastic view of the Valley of the Temples (easy to get to by bus from... More
