This small B&B is a hidden gem and Tomaso is beyond the best host we have ever encountered in our travels. The owners are why this place is special and should be discovered to full enjoyment. Kerkent is located in a very user friendly spot if you wish to visit the old town of Agrigento, and suceed in the adventure... More

We just got back from staying here and it was a lovely stay. If you are American and speak not Italian this is a very hard to find B&B. We were very lucky that a woman who spoke no english understood that we needed to find this place and she had us follow her. It is tucked inside the town,... More

We planned a two night stay in Agrigento, but added another night both because of this nice B and B, and because of interesting things to see in the Valley of the Temples, the museum and the old town. Our room had a nice little balcony overlooking the square, complete with a laundry rack, much appreciated for doing a small... More

Warmly welcomed with cool drinks on a very warm October day. Good orientation to Agrigento with maps and recommendations for eating, transport, sightseeing at the Valley of the Temples and in the old city. Close to buses for public transport and very convenient for wandering around and getting lost in the narrow lanes and steep steps of the atmospheric old... More

We stayed at the Kerkent for 3 nights and had the best time there. The B&B is centrally located (with ocean view :), its super clean, nicely and modern furnished, the breakfast is great as are the rooms! Gisella, the landlady, is a lovely and helpfully person. She welcomed us with a drink and was always there when we needed... More

What a find! We stayed for 1 night in October in a quadruple room - a lovely large room with a double and 2 singles and with a terrrace with views to the sea. We parked in the square outside without a problem and our satnav took us directly there. The B&B is beautiful inside with smart furnishings and decor.... More

Gisella and Tomaso are definitely this lovely little B and Bs strength. Their interest in their guests is refreshingly genuine and nothing is too much trouble for them. Gisella welcomed us and gave us an interesting and detailed overview of the area with helpful tips too. The bnb is immaculately clean and well presented. Our room was fresh and appealing... More

Tomaso, the owner, picked us up from the train and gave us excellent directions around the city. He also recommended lots of places to eat for dinner. Our room was excellent, air con was very effective and Gisella and Tomaso were so generous and kind. Breakfasts were great as well. The square outside is plain, apart from the day of... More

I was welcomed by Gisella with a glass of fruit juice and plenty of useful tips on god local sights and restaurants. The room was a good size and the air-con was very effective (important in July!). The piazza where it is located i rather ugly but you are a 2 minute walk down the stairs to the main street.... More

We were a little nervous at first when we pulled into the parking lot. It looks a little sketchy from the outside, but the interior is very quaint and the staff very helpful. The rooms are quite spacious and we had a nice patio. Not much for views from the windows. We were only there for one night, so it... More
